Even if the battery is not overcharged, if the storage battery pack 25 is left charged to a high voltage close to overcharge, the battery life is remarkably shortened. By these processes, the storage battery pack 25 is prevented from being left in a high voltage state, so that the battery can be prevented from being deteriorated and the battery life can be extended.
- the integrated storage battery unit management unit 16 determines whether or not to execute the charge / discharge control command and executes charging or discharging. When performing charging or discharging, the SOC of the storage battery system 22 is determined. calculating a (S104 in FIG. 4A, S110). Hereinafter, the SOC calculation processing will be described in detail.
- Method A This is a method of calculating based on the amount of current flowing in and out of the storage battery.
- the increase / decrease amount of the SOC can be calculated relatively accurately.
- the SOC at an arbitrary time point is calculated by adding and integrating the charging current after that point with time integration and subtracting the discharge current with time integration.
- this method may not be able to detect a minute current below a certain amount. For this reason, the current cannot be detected when charging in a constant voltage mode, and there is an error between the calculated value and the actual SOC. May accumulate. Similar effects may occur due to self-discharge or the like inside the storage battery.
- Method B This is a method of calculating by a function with the open-circuit voltage and temperature of the storage battery as parameters. Specifically, there is a certain correlation between the open-circuit voltage / temperature and the SOC, and the relationship between the open-circuit voltage, temperature and SOC is stored in advance in a memory as a function or table, and the open circuit at a certain point in time is stored. The end voltage and temperature are detected, and the corresponding SOC is calculated. When the SOC is above a certain level and the temperature is about room temperature, the influence of the temperature on the SOC is smaller than the open-circuit voltage, and therefore, the temperature may be ignored and only the open-circuit voltage may be used as a parameter.
- the SOC can be calculated with any voltage and current.
- the SOC is calculated by combining both methods. Specifically, as described above, in the management system of the present embodiment, the charge / discharge control command is output from the system management unit 18 irregularly, and transitions between the three states of the charge state, the discharge state, and the standby state. In view of this, the SOC is calculated by the A method in the charge state or the discharge state, and the SOC is calculated by adding / subtracting the integrated value of the charge / discharge current at the time of charge / discharge to / from the current SOC. When the standby state continues for a certain time or more, the SOC is calculated by the B method in consideration of the fact that the influence of hysteresis is eliminated and the SOC can be accurately calculated and error correction can be performed.
- the method A can be executed by the parameter calculation unit 25b of each storage battery pack 25 to calculate the SOC.
- the calculated SOC for each storage battery pack 25 is supplied to the integrated storage battery unit management unit 16 as described above.
- the function or table of the open-circuit voltage, the temperature, and the SOC is stored in advance in the memory of the general storage battery unit management unit 16 and can be executed by the general storage battery unit management unit 16 to calculate the SOC.
- the integrated storage battery unit management unit 16 calculates the SOC by switching between the A method and the B method.
- FIG. 7 shows a flowchart of the SOC calculation process in the present embodiment.
- the integrated storage battery unit management unit 16 determines whether or not the power management system is activated (S201). When the system is activated, the integrated storage battery unit management unit 16 calculates the SOC by the B method (S205). The SOC calculated at the time of starting the system becomes a reference value for subsequent SOC calculation as the SOC initial value.
- the integrated storage battery unit management unit 16 calculates the SOC by the A method (S203). That is, the SOC is calculated by adding up and subtracting the charge / discharge current value until just before the interruption and adding / subtracting to the SOC calculated by the B method.
- the integrated storage battery unit management unit 16 next determines whether or not this standby state continues for a certain time (S204). ). If the standby state has not continued for a certain period of time, it is assumed that there is still an influence of hysteresis, and SOC is calculated by the A method (S203). Further, when it is determined that the standby state continues for a certain period of time, it is determined that there is no influence of hysteresis and the change in voltage follows the change in current and the open-end voltage can be detected relatively accurately, The SOC is calculated by the B method (S205).
- the open circuit voltage Vo can be calculated by detecting and plotting.
- the calculation of the SOC using the open-circuit voltage Vo is also disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2006-194789 related to the applicant of the present application.
- FIG. 8 shows the SOC calculation processing in the present embodiment in time series.
- reference numeral 100 indicates the actual time change of the SOC
- reference numeral 200 indicates the time change of the SOC calculated in the present embodiment
- reference numeral 300 indicates the time change of the SOC calculated only by the A method for comparison. Show.
- the charging process or the discharging process the charging process or the discharging process is interrupted, and the SOC is calculated by the A method. In this case, the SOC can be calculated with relatively high accuracy, and there is almost no error from the actual SOC.
- the actual SOC gradually decreases due to self-discharge or the like.
- the method A alone, since there is no change in the SOC in the standby state, an error from the actual SOC accumulates.
- the SOC is calculated by switching to the B method instead of the A method, so that an error from the actual SOC can be corrected.
- the standby state further continues, the SOC is repeatedly calculated by the B method.
- the SOC is calculated again by the A method.
- the charging process or the discharging process in the charging process or the discharging process, the charging process or the discharging process is interrupted to calculate the SOC, and in the standby state, the method B is continued for a certain period of time. Since the SOC is calculated and corrected by switching to, an SOC substantially equal to the actual SOC can be obtained.
- a solar cell solar power generation system
- the external commercial power supply 10 as a power source.
- the power generated by the solar battery is supplied to the storage battery system 22 to charge the storage battery system 22.
- a solar cell may be used as a backup power source.
- the average SOC of all the storage battery packs 25 in the storage battery system 22 is calculated, and the average SOC is compared with the first threshold value or the second threshold value.
- the average voltage of all the storage battery packs 25 may be calculated, and the average voltage may be compared with the first voltage threshold or the second voltage threshold instead of the average SOC.
- the charging process may be prohibited and the discharging process may be prohibited when at least one of the average SOC and the average voltage is less than the second threshold value or the second voltage threshold value.
- charging is prohibited when the maximum SOC exceeds the upper limit value, and discharging is prohibited when the minimum SOC is less than the lower limit value, but the maximum of all the storage battery packs 25 is used instead of the maximum SOC.
- a voltage may be used, and the minimum voltage of all the storage battery packs 25 may be used instead of the minimum SOC.
- charging is prohibited when at least one of the maximum cell voltage, the maximum pack voltage, and the maximum 5 series voltage exceeds the voltage upper limit value, and the minimum cell voltage, the minimum pack voltage, and the minimum 5 series voltage are
- overcharge protection or overdischarge protection may be achieved by combining any two of the cell voltage, pack voltage, and 5 series voltage. For example, cell voltage and 5 series voltage, cell voltage and pack voltage, pack voltage and 5 series voltage, and the like.
- the cell voltage and the 5 series voltage are used, in the process of S153 in FIG. 4B, it is determined whether either the maximum cell voltage or the maximum 5 series voltage exceeds the voltage upper limit value, and if it exceeds, the charging process is prohibited. It will be.
- S154 in FIG. 4B it is determined whether either the minimum cell voltage or the minimum 5 series voltage is less than the voltage lower limit value, and if it is less, the discharge process is prohibited.
- the relative charge rate SOC (%) with the fully charged state as 100 is used as the charged state of the storage battery pack 25, but the remaining capacity value (A) is used instead of the charge rate SOC (%). H) may be used.

Abstract
