- a pulsed data signal that changes to a positive voltage and a negative voltage is transmitted and received using two pairs of lines. Therefore, the PHYs 105 and 205 are connected via a pulse transformer for every two lines forming a pair.
- the DC power is transmitted using, for example, a midpoint of a pulse transformer corresponding to a pair of lines used for data signal transmission and a midpoint of a pulse transformer corresponding to a pair of lines used for receiving a data signal.
- the line (pair) used for DC power transmission may be, for example, a line used for data transmission / reception (in the example shown in FIG.
- lines 1-2 and 3-6 lines 1-2 and 3-6
- a spare line not used for data transmission / reception Lines (lines 4-5 and 7-8 in the example shown in FIG. 4) may also be used. In Ethernet (registered trademark), lines 4-5 and 7-8 shown in FIG. 4 may also be used for data transmission / reception.
- the center device 100 performs power supply control to the remote terminal 200, and at the time of power supply to the remote terminal 200, the center device 100 performs the remote terminal 200. It is possible to control the supply / stop of power to the main load 212 by a control signal transmitted to the remote terminal 200 using the power button 214 or the sensor 215. It is also possible to control it. Further, the center device 100 can transmit a required control signal according to the current on / off state of the switch 210 even if the on / off state of the switch 210 is different from the instruction by the control signal transmitted to the remote terminal 200. . Therefore, the supply / stop of power to the main load 212 of the remote terminal 200 can be controlled by both the center device 100 and the remote terminal 200.
- the power supply system of the present embodiment can be configured using general-purpose parts, the cost of the remote terminal 200 does not increase.
- the center device 100 can control the supply / stop of the power to the main load 212 of the remote terminal 200 without increasing the cost.
