Abstract

본 발명은 화목 보일러에 관한 것으로서, 목재연료 및 연소 공기의 투입을 위한 투입구와, 연통이 연결되도록 상부에 형성되는 연기 배출구와, 상기 연기 배출구에 인접하여 형성되는 공기 투입공과, 저탕수가 수용되는 저탕수 수용부를 가지는 보일러 본체와; 상기 투입구를 개폐시키도록 상기 보일러 본체에 설치되며, 상기 투입구를 막은 상태에서 상기 보일러 본체 내부로 외부 공기를 선택적으로 공급 및 차단하는 메인 개폐유닛과; 상기 메인 개폐유닛을 통한 외부 공기의 투입이 차단되는 경우, 외부 공기를 상기 보일러 본체 내부로 공급하는 보조 개폐유닛과; 상기 저탕수의 온도를 감지하는 온도센서와; 상기 온도센서에서 감지된 온도정보를 근거로 하여 상기 메인 개폐유닛을 통한 공기의 투입 및 차단을 제어하는 제어부를 포함하며, 상기 저탕수 수용부는 상기 보일러 본체의 전체에 걸쳐서 일체로 형성되고, 상기 메인 개폐유닛을 통한 외부 공기의 투입이 차단될 경우, 상기 보조 개폐유닛을 통해 외부 공기가 상기 보일러 본체 내부로 공급되어 상기 목재연료의 불씨를 유지하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이에 의해 불씨를 꺼뜨리지 않고 장시간 안정적으로 사용할 수 있는 화목 보일러를 제공할 수 있다.
