- the connecting portion 123 can be configured using a plate-like member or the like.
- the folding part 120B has a side guide part 122 arranged to be inclined more than the folding part 120 described above. For this reason, the intersection P becomes a position away from the vicinity of the terminal end 121de.
- the arrangement of the side guide portions 122 such that the intersection point P is located downstream of the terminal end portion 121de is not preferable from the viewpoint of reliably folding the continuous web 10.
- the folding part 120A shown in FIG. 5A and the folding part 120B shown in FIG. 5B can be selected according to the size or material of the continuous web 10, the conveying speed, the installation space of the processing apparatus 100, or the like.
- the continuous web 10 can be folded while saving space in the transport direction (MD2 direction) necessary for the folding part 120B.
- the interval V1 between the pair of side guide portions 122 narrows toward the downstream in the transport direction. Further, the end portion 122de of the side guide portion 122 is located upstream of the end portion 121de of the central guide portion 121 in the transport direction. Furthermore, the superimposing roller 150 superimposes the front waistline portion 11 and the rear waistline portion on the downstream side in the transport direction from the side guide portion 122.
- the folding reference for the continuous web 10 is set in the side guide portion 122 and the overlapping roller 150. Further, for the crotch part 13 in which the leg opening 14 is intermittently formed, the folding position is determined so as to follow this folding reference.
- the center guide part 121 is provided along the crotch part 13 between the pair of side guide parts 122. Further, the end portion 122de of the side guide portion 122 is located upstream of the end portion 121de of the central guide portion 121.
- the folding portion 120 folds the continuous web 10 in two without being affected by the leg opening 14, and the front waistline portion 11 and the rear It is possible to overlap the waistline portion 12 without shifting. Furthermore, according to the processing apparatus 100, if the continuous web 10 is not folded in the state of being conveyed in the horizontal direction, that is, the XY plane, but if the continuous web 10 is folded in the state of being conveyed in the vertical direction, that is, the YZ plane, Can be ignored, and a production line can be configured in a relatively small space.
- a continuous web processing apparatus disclosed in, for example, WO01 / 72237 is known.
- the processing apparatus uses a triangular panel whose apex is located on the downstream side in the transport direction, and folds the web in which the leg opening is not formed in two. If such a triangular panel is used to fold the web in which the leg opening is formed, the waist part of the continuous web 10 first comes into contact with the hypotenuse of the triangular panel. After that, the triangular panel comes into contact with the crotch, but the triangular panel comes into contact with the crotch while straddling the leg opening, which causes a problem that the folding position is not stable.
- the extension line EL along the contact portion 122a where the side guide portion 122 contacts the continuous web 10 is provided so as to intersect the central guide portion 121. For this reason, in the folding part 120, the area
- the side guide part 122 is provided apart from the central guide part 121. For this reason, in the folding part 120, the area
- the start end portion 121ue of the central guide portion 121 is located on the downstream side of the start end portion 122ue of the side guide portion 122. For this reason, when the folding reference
- the end portion 122de of the side guide portion 122 contacts only the crotch portion 13. Moreover, the side guide part 122 is arrange
- the overlapping roller 150 changes the conveyance direction of the continuous web 10 in which the front waistline portion 11 and the back waistline portion 12 are overlapped from MD2 to MD3 orthogonal to MD2. That is, since the transport direction of the continuous web 10 transported in the vertical direction (MD2) is changed on the layout of the processing apparatus 100, the transport direction of the continuous web 10 matches the transport direction of other apparatuses. The process can be omitted, and the installation space for manufacturing-related equipment can be saved.
- the automatic position adjustment mechanism 170 that adjusts the position of one surface (the front waistline portion 11 or the back waistline portion 12) of the folded continuous web 10 includes the end portion 122de of the side guide portion 122 and the center guide. It is provided between the terminal part 121de of the part 121. For this reason, even when the folding position of the continuous web 10 by the side guide portion 122 is shifted, the folding position can be corrected on the downstream side of the side guide portion 122.
- the folding unit 120 folds the continuous web 10 conveyed in the vertical direction into two.
- the folding unit 120 may fold the web conveyed in the horizontal direction.
- the conveying direction of the continuous web 10 is changed by 90 degrees using the overlapping roller 150.
- a mechanism that twists the continuous web 10 by 90 degrees may be used.
- the mechanism may have a function of an overlapping portion of the front waistline portion 11 and the rear waistline portion 12.
- the start end portion 121ue of the central guide portion 121 is located upstream (downward) from the start end portion 122ue of the side guide portion 122.
- the positions of the start end portion 121ue and the start end portion 122ue are described above. It may be different from the embodiment. Further, the positions of the pair of side guide portions 122 are not necessarily symmetrical.
- the folding base portion 110 is a cylindrical bar-like member.
- the folding base portion 110 may have a different shape (such as a curved plate) as long as it can serve as the folding base point of the continuous web 10. It does not matter.
