図1は、アタッチメントとして集塵装置を装着した電動工具としてのハンマードリルを示し、図2はハンマードリルを単体で示している。まずハンマードリル1は、左右一対の半割ハウジングを組み付けてなるハウジング2の前側(図1,2の右側を前方とする。)中央にモータ3を、出力軸4を後方へ傾かせた傾斜姿勢で収容しており、その上方でベベルギヤ5,5を介してトルク伝達される中間軸6に、前方から第1ギヤ7、クラッチ8、ボススリーブ9を備えている。中間軸6の上方には、先端にビット10を挿着可能なツールホルダ11が中間軸6と平行に軸支されて、その後方に遊挿されたピストンシリンダ12の後端に、ボススリーブ9にスワッシュベアリングを介して外装されたアーム13が連結されている。ピストンシリンダ12の内部には、空気室14を介してストライカ15が前後移動可能に外装されて、その前方に設けたインパクトボルト16を打撃可能としている。第1ギヤ7は、ツールホルダ11に装着された第2ギヤ17と噛合している。
その後、集塵装置40のオス端子57が開放した差込口28からハウジング2内へ進入し、装着部22が嵌合凹部42へ嵌合すると同時にメス端子27に挿通して電気的接続される(図1)。
また、ハンマードリル1の駆動停止に集塵装置40の駆動停止が遅れる遅延機能を備えたことで、ノズル52やフレキシブルホース54等に残留した粉塵もダストボックス61へ確実に回収することができ、高い集塵性能が得られる。
また、シャッタ及び回転部材をメス端子の上側や側方に設けてシャッタを上方や側方へスライドさせて差込口を開放させるようにしたり、オス端子とメス端子との配置は上記と逆にして、オス端子を電動工具に、メス端子をアタッチメントにそれぞれ設けたりすることも可能である。
[形態2]
図4に示すハンマードリル1aにおいては、ハウジング2とバッテリーパック21との間に中間ハウジング67を介在させている。この中間ハウジング67は、上面がハウジング2に装着されて、下面に、バッテリーパック21が着脱可能な装着面を形成したもので、装着面に設けられてバッテリーパック21に電気的接続される端子板68が、リード線24によってコントローラ25へ接続されている。バッテリーパック21は、図4の左側から中間ハウジング67の装着面へスライド装着される。
また、中間ハウジング67の後面には、バッテリーパック21の電源を外部へ出力可能なピンジャックが設けられて、集塵装置40aのコントローラ45に接続されて外部へ引き出されたコード69の先端に設けたピンプラグ69aを差し込み可能となっている。その他のハンマードリル1a及び集塵装置40aの構造はオス端子及びメス端子による電気的接続構造を除いて形態1と同様である。
このように、上記形態2の駆動源供給システムにおいても、集塵装置40aの装着と略同時に駆動源の供給が可能となる一方、集塵装置40aの取り外しによってハンマードリル1aもそのまま単独使用可能となる。よって、集塵装置40aの着脱に伴う駆動源の切替に手間が掛かることがなく、使い勝手に優れる。
図5に示すハンマードリル1bは、商用電源を駆動源とするAC工具であって、ハウジング2の前方(この図5では左側が前方となる。)下部に、モータ70が出力軸71を上向きにして収容されており、出力軸71から回転伝達される前側の中間シャフト72がツールホルダ11に回転伝達を行う。一方、出力軸71から回転伝達される後側のクランクシャフト73は、上端に突設した偏心ピン74をコネクティングロッド75を介してピストンシリンダ12に連結することで、クランクシャフト73の回転をピストンシリンダ12の往復動に変換して、ストライカ15による打撃を可能としている。また、出力軸71の下端には、側面が下方への先細りテーパ面となる駆動ホイール76が取り付けられており、ハウジング2の前方下端には、駆動ホイール76のテーパ面を露出させる窓77が、ハウジング2の下面から上下方向に形成されている。
この集塵装置40bは、ハンマードリル1bのハウジング2の下部前面に対して後面を下方からスライドさせることで、両面に設けた図示しない係止部同士が係止してハウジング2に装着可能となっており、この装着状態で、駆動ホイール76の側面に従動ホイール83の側面が下方から圧接するようになっている。
一方、集塵装置40bをハンマードリル1bから取り外せば、従動ホイール83が駆動ホイール76から離れるのみで、ハンマードリル1bはそのまま使用できる。
なお、駆動ホイール及び従動ホイールの位置や形態は適宜変更可能で、例えば集塵装置をハンマードリルに対して前方からスライド装着させる場合には、テーパ面でない側面同士を圧接させるようにしてもよい。
Claims (12)
- アタッチメントが結合されて駆動源としてバッテリーを備える電動工具から前記アタッチメントへ駆動源を供給するための駆動源供給システムであって、
前記電動工具又はアタッチメントの何れか一方に突設されるオス端子と、
他方に設けられ、前記オス端子が挿入可能な差込口と、
前記他方に設けられ、前記差込口の内側に位置して前記オス端子と電気的接続可能なメス端子と、を含み、
前記電動工具への前記アタッチメントの結合に伴う前記オス端子とメス端子との電気的接続により、前記バッテリーから前記アタッチメントへ駆動源を供給することを特徴とするアタッチメント付き電動工具の駆動源供給システム。 - 前記メス端子が設けられる前記他方に、前記差込口の開放位置と閉塞位置との間でスライド可能なシャッタと、そのシャッタに一端が係合して回転可能な回転部材と、その回転部材を前記シャッタが前記閉塞位置へスライドする回転方向へ付勢する付勢手段とを設けて、
前記オス端子が設けられる前記一方に、前記アタッチメントの装着に伴って前記回転部材の他端に当接し、前記回転部材を前記付勢手段の付勢に抗して前記シャッタが前記開放位置へスライドする回転方向へ回転させる押圧部を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアタッチメント付き電動工具の駆動源供給システム。 - 前記一方に、前記オス端子に沿った保護リブを設けたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のアタッチメント付き電動工具の駆動源供給システム。
- 前記アタッチメントの駆動を前記電動工具の駆動に連動させることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のアタッチメント付き電動工具の駆動源供給システム。
- 前記アタッチメントの駆動を、前記電動工具の駆動停止から所定時間遅れて停止させるようにしたことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のアタッチメント付き電動工具の駆動源供給システム。
- 前記電動工具に対して前記アタッチメントをスライド装着させるものとして、前記他方の外面に、前記スライド方向と平行な案内溝を設けて当該案内溝内に前記回転部材の他端を突出させ、前記押圧部を、前記一方の外面に設けられ、前記アタッチメントの装着に伴って前記案内溝内をスライドして前記回転部材の他端に当接するレールとしたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のアタッチメント付き電動工具の駆動源供給システム。
- 前記回転部材の一端に設けたピンを前記シャッタに設けた溝に遊挿させることで前記一端を前記シャッタに係合させ、前記回転部材の他端に設けたカム部を前記案内溝内に突出させたことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のアタッチメント付き電動工具の駆動源供給システム。
- 前記差込口及びメス端子が前記電動工具に、前記オス端子が前記アタッチメントにそれぞれ設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアタッチメント付き電動工具の駆動源供給システム。
- 前記アタッチメントは、前記電動工具の使用によって被加工材から発生する粉塵を回収する集塵装置であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアタッチメント付き電動工具の駆動源供給システム。
- 前記集塵装置は、前記粉塵を回収するダストボックスを着脱可能に備えることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のアタッチメント付き電動工具の駆動源供給システム。
- アタッチメントが結合される電動工具から前記アタッチメントへ駆動源を供給するための駆動源供給システムであって、
前記電動工具のハウジングへ着脱可能に装着され、前記電動工具の駆動源となるバッテリーパックと、
前記ハウジングとバッテリーパックとの間に設けられ、前記バッテリーパックから前記電動工具へ電源供給を行うと共に、前記アタッチメントとの外部での有線接続によって前記バッテリーパックから前記アタッチメントへ電源供給を行う中間ハウジングと、
を含んでなることを特徴とするアタッチメント付き電動工具の駆動源供給システム。 - 前記中間ハウジングは、上面に前記ハウジングへの装着面を、下面に前記バッテリーパックが着脱可能な装着面をそれぞれ形成し、前記アタッチメントに接続されたコードの先端に設けたピンプラグを差し込み可能なピンジャックを備えることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のアタッチメント付き電動工具の駆動源供給システム。
