前記フォーカス調整制御部は、前記開閉検知部により前記レンズカバーが閉じられたことが通知されている場合にはフォーカス調整を停止する。
投写面に映像を投写する投写レンズと、前記投写レンズの前方を覆う開閉自在なレンズカバーと、前記投写レンズのフォーカス調整を行うフォーカス調整制御部と、前記レンズカバーの開閉状態を検知して前記フォーカス調整制御部へ通知する開閉検知部と、を有する映像表示装置の制御方法であって、
前記フォーカス調整制御部は、前記開閉検知部により前記レンズカバーが閉じられていることが通知されている場合にはフォーカス調整を停止し、前記開閉検知部により前記レンズカバーが開かれていることが通知されている場合にのみフォーカス調整を行う。

- 投写面に映像を投写する投写レンズと、前記投写レンズの前方を覆う開閉自在なレンズカバーと、を有する映像表示装置であって、
前記投写レンズのフォーカス調整を行うフォーカス調整制御部と、
前記レンズカバーの開閉状態を検知して前記フォーカス調整制御部へ通知する開閉検知部と、を有し、
前記フォーカス調整制御部は、前記開閉検知部により前記レンズカバーが閉じられたことが通知されている場合にはフォーカス調整を停止することを特徴とする映像表示装置。 - 請求項1記載の映像表示装置において、
前記フォーカス調整制御部は、前記開閉検知部により前記レンズカバーが開かれたことが通知されている場合にはフォーカス調整を行うことを特徴とする映像表示装置。 - 請求項1記載の映像表示装置において、
前記フォーカス調整制御部は、前記開閉検知部により前記レンズカバーが開かれたことが通知された後、一定時間経過後に、フォーカス調整を行うことを特徴とする映像表示装置。 - 請求項2または3記載の映像表示装置において、
前記映像表示装置が静止状態にあるかを検出して前記フォーカス調整制御部へ通知する傾きセンサを更に備え、
前記フォーカス調整制御部は、前記傾きセンサからの通知に基づき、前記映像表示装置が静止しているか否かを判定し、静止していると判定した後に、フォーカス調整を行うことを特徴とする映像表示装置。 - 投写面に映像を投写する投写レンズと、前記投写レンズの前方を覆う開閉自在なレンズカバーと、前記投写レンズのフォーカス調整を行うフォーカス調整制御部と、前記レンズカバーの開閉状態を検知して前記フォーカス調整制御部へ通知する開閉検知部と、を有する映像表示装置の制御方法であって、
前記フォーカス調整制御部は、前記開閉検知部により前記レンズカバーが閉じられていることが通知されている場合にはフォーカス調整を停止し、前記開閉検知部により前記レンズカバーが開かれていることが通知されている場合にのみフォーカス調整を行うことを特徴とする映像表示装置の制御方法。 - 請求項5記載の映像表示装置の制御方法において、
前記フォーカス調整制御部は、前記開閉検知部により前記レンズカバーが開かれていることが通知されると、一定時間経過した後に、フォーカス調整を行うことを特徴とする映像表示装置の制御方法。 - 請求項5または6記載の映像表示装置の制御方法において、
前記フォーカス調整制御部は、前記映像表示装置が静止状態にあるかを検出する傾きセンサからの通知に基づき、前記映像表示装置が静止しているか否かを判定し、静止していると判定した後に、フォーカス調整を行うことを特徴とする映像表示装置の制御方法。
