一方で、特許文献1の一対の保持板部において、より安定した保持力を確保するためには、紐の連続方向の長さを拡張するか、あるいは一対の間隔を狭くする必要があり、何れも紐を圧入する操作を困難にするものであった。
このようなことから、紐の仮固定の保持力と操作性とを同時に向上することが困難であった。
このような構成では、前述したジグザグ配列を最も簡単な構成で実現することができる第1突起および第2突起のそれぞれが脚部の延設方向に所定長さにわたって紐端部と圧接するため、相互の摩擦力を確保して仮固定の保持性を高めることができる。
このような構成では、前述したジグザグ配列された前記第1突起と第2突起との間の空間をプラグ側紐収容部とすることで、紐をこのプラグ側紐収容部に確実に収容し、保持することができる。
このような構成では、第1突起および第2突起のそれぞれが脚部の延設方向に所定長さにわたって紐端部と圧接するため、相互の摩擦力を確保して仮固定の保持性を高めることができる。
このような構成では、第1突起および第2突起の間をジグザグに迂回する紐端部に、それぞれの角隅が喰い込むことで、仮固定の保持性を高めることができる。
このような構成では、第1突起および第2突起が前記脚部の延設方向の同じ領域で互いに平行となる部分がなく、これらの間に紐端部を圧入するための強い力が必要ない。また、第1突起および第2突起が前記脚部の延設方向に相互に重ならないことから、合成樹脂の射出成形等で製造する際に可動中子などを用いる必要性を回避することができる。
図1に示すように、本実施形態の紐止め具2は、U字状に屈曲させた紐1の両端など、2本の紐端部1Aを並列に収容する本体3を有する。
紐1は、たとえば、ジッパーのスライダの孔に挿通されて2つに屈曲され、各紐端部1Aが紐止め具2に挿入された状態で使用(スライダを操作する際につまみとして利用)される。なお、紐1の断面形状(例えば、丸紐や平紐など)や材質などについては、問わないが、例えば、ゴム紐のような縮径率が大きいものについてはより効果を発揮できる。
本体3は、筒状のソケット10と、このソケット10内に挿入係合されるプラグ20とを備えている。これらのソケット10およびプラグ20は、例えば合成樹脂の射出成形品としてそれぞれ一体に形成される。
ソケット10の内部には、紐用開口11およびプラグ用開口12に連通されかつ紐用開口11から挿入された紐端部1Aを所定長さにわたって収容する収容部13が形成されている。
側壁10C,10D間の寸法は、プラグ用開口12側から紐用開口11側までプラグ20の挿入方向においてずっと略同一寸法である。
主壁10A,10B間の寸法は、プラグ用開口12側ではプラグ20の挿入方向へ向かうに従って次第に狭くなり、中間では一定の間隔であり、紐用開口11側の所定区間は中間部分より狭いが一定の間隔とされている。
内面15には、側壁10C,10Dに沿った部分に、紐端部1Aの周方向(つまり紐端部1Aの連続方向と交差する方向)に沿って連続する三角形の凹凸形状16が形成されている。
これらの内面15および凹凸形状16により、係止部14に挿通された紐端部1Aは、内面15に密接されるとともに、凹凸形状16に圧着されることで、紐端部1Aに対する引き抜き抵抗が大きくなる(食い付きがより強力になる)ように構成されている。
案内部17は、係止部14に溝状に形成され、収容部13の中間部分に面する主壁10A,10Bから連続してプラグ20の挿入方向へ延びている。案内部17は、プラグ20がソケット10に挿入する方向(プラグ挿入方向)に進むにつれて幅が狭くなる先細り形状とされている。
係合受部18は、収容部13に面したソケット10の内面に形成され、主壁10A,10B、側壁10C,10Dのそれぞれに沿って計4つが形成されている。本実施形態において、ソケット10側の係合受部18は半球状に凹んだ形状とされ、プラグ20側の対応位置に形成される凸形状と係合可能である。
基部21は、ソケット10のプラグ用開口12に嵌合する輪郭形状、つまり、厚みが略一様で、プラグ挿入方向から見た形状が略扁平長円形状に形成されている。
脚部22は、基端側の両側に張り出した張出部23を有し、この張出部23は基部21の内側両端近傍に形成された台座25に支持されている。これらの支持構造により、脚部22は基部21の内側の中央からプラグ20の差込み方向へ延設されている。
脚部22は、先端が先細り状とされかつ上面、下面および両側の側面からなる板状に形成され、ソケット10とプラグ20とが係合状態とされた時、先端がソケット10の係止部14内に到達する長さとされている(図7参照)。
ソケット10とプラグ20とが係合状態とされた時、係合突部25Aはソケット10の係合受部18のうち側壁10C,10Dに沿ったものと係合し、係合突部26Aはソケット10の係合受部18のうち主壁10A,10Bに沿ったものと係合し、これらの係合により、プラグ20がソケット10から抜け出すことを防止する抜け止めが形成されている。
保持突起31および張出部23と保持突起32との間隔は、紐端部1Aの直径とよりやや小さく形成されている。従って、紐端部1Aを保持突起31および張出部23と保持突起32との間に挟んで保持することができるとともに、保持突起31および張出部23と保持突起32とは前述のようにジグザグ状に配置されているため、紐端部1Aは蛇行することで過剰な圧迫を受けることがなく、これらの間に容易に挿入して保持することができる。
なお、保持突起32の先端には、そのプラグ側紐収容部30A側に、このプラグ側紐収容部30Aに収容された紐端部1Aを係止する脱落防止用の突条33が形成されている。
これらの保持突起31,32および張出部23により仮固定部30が形成され、プラグ側紐収容部30Aよりも脚部22の下面側にある保持突起31および張出部23が第1突起を構成し、プラグ側紐収容部30Aよりも脚部22の上面側にある保持突起32が第2突起を構成するようになっている。
本実施形態では、脚部22の上面側の保持突起31と、下面側の保持突起32および張出部23とが、プラグ側紐収容部30Aを挟んで互い違いとなるように、それぞれ脚部22から突出して形成されている。しかし、保持突起としては、上面側に1つで下面側に2つに限らず、上面側に2つで下面側に1つであってもよいし、各側に2つ以上が配置されていてもよい。
図5に示すように、紐1の2本の紐端部1Aをソケット10の紐用開口11から挿入し、収容部13を通してプラグ用開口12から引き出し、プラグ20の仮固定部30に仮固定する。
具体的には、紐端部1Aを仮固定部30に沿わせ(図5の紐端部1A1の状態)、プラグ20の保持突起31および張出部23と保持突起32との間に側方から押し込む(図5の紐端部1A2の状態)。この際、紐端部1Aを保持突起31,32および張出部23のジグザグ状に応じて蛇行させることで、仮固定を容易に行うことができる。
これらの操作の間、紐端部1Aの先端側は仮固定部30に保持されているため、操作を容易に行うことができる。
また、このように脚部22の延設方向に重ならない配置とすることで、投影方向に相互に重ならないことから、合成樹脂の射出成形等で製造する際に可動中子などを用いる必要性を回避することができる。
これは保持突起31および張出部23(第1突起)と保持突起32(第2突起)とさらには係止突起24が脚部22の延設方向の設置範囲が互いに異なっている、換言すれば重ならないために可能な構成である。もしこれらを重なる配置とするならば、アンダーカットが生じ、これを成形するための金型は図7のような簡単な構成とすることができない。
前記実施形態では、プラグ20の保持突起31および張出部23(第1突起)と保持突起32(第2突起)は、互いの対向する面の角隅が90度以下に尖らされているとしたが、その何れかあるいは全てを90度より大きい角度としてもよい。この場合、紐端部1Aに対する角隅の喰い込みによる仮固定の保持性が低下するため、これを補うように他の手段を講じることが望ましい。
前記実施形態では、プラグ20の保持突起31および張出部23(第1突起)と保持突起32(第2突起)を用いたが、第1突起および第2突起の形態としてはこれらに限定されない。
例えば、図8に示す他の実施形態のように、突条33を有する保持突起32を2つ配列し、その間隔部分に保持突起31を対向させてもよい。
この場合、係止突起24がプラグ側紐収容部30A内に配置されるようになってもよく、あるいは係止突起24を脚部22の先端側に限らず、側面の中間部分にまで配置してもよい。
前記実施形態では、台座25等を介して脚部22を基部21に屈曲可能に接続したが、脚部22と基部21とは直接固定してもよく、前記実施形態の第1突起を兼ねる張出部23、台座25および突条26は省略してもよい。
Claims (6)
- 複数の紐端部(1A)を収容可能な本体(3)を有する紐止め具(2)であって、
前記本体(3)は、略筒状のソケット(10)と、前記ソケット(10)内に挿入されるプラグ(20)とを有し、
前記ソケット(10)は、前記紐端部(1A)が挿入される紐用開口(11)と、前記プラグ(20)が挿入されるプラグ用開口(12)と、前記紐用開口(11)および前記プラグ用開口(12)に連通されかつ前記紐用開口(11)から挿入された前記紐端部(1A)を所定長さにわたって収容する収容部(13)と、前記収容部(13)内に収容された前記紐端部(1A)を係止する複数の係止部(14)とを有し、
前記プラグ(20)は、前記ソケット(10)の前記プラグ用開口(12)を塞ぐ基部(21)と、この基部(21)から一体的に延設され前記ソケット(10)の前記収容部(13)内に挿入される脚部(22)と、前記紐端部(1A)を仮固定する仮固定部(30)とを有し、
前記仮固定部(30)は、前記脚部(22)から側方へ突出する第1突起(31,23)および第2突起(32)を有し、前記第1突起(31,23)および第2突起(32)は前記脚部(22)の延設方向に対して交互に突出していることを特徴とする紐止め具(2)。 - 前記第1突起(31,23)は前記脚部(22)の延設方向に沿って2つ以上が配列されるとともに、前記第2突起(32)は前記第1突起(31,23)の間の間隔と対向して配置されていることを特徴とする紐止め具(2)。
- 前記プラグ(20)は、前記脚部(22)の側面に沿って前記脚部(22)の延設方向に延びるプラグ側紐収容部(30A)を有し、前記プラグ側紐収容部(30A)は前記第1突起(31,23)と第2突起(32)との間にあることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の紐止め具(2)。
- 前記第1突起(31,23)および前記第2突起(32)は、それぞれ前記脚部(22)の延設方向に沿った板状の突起であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3の何れかに記載の紐止め具(2)。
- 前記第1突起(31,23)および前記第2突起(32)は、互いの対向する面の角隅が90度以下に尖らされていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4の何れかに記載の紐止め具(2)。
- 前記第1突起(31,23)および前記第2突起(32)は、各々の前記脚部(22)の延設方向の設置範囲が互いに異なることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5の何れかに記載の紐止め具(2)。
