Definitions
- the present invention relates to a heat transfer device, and more particularly, to a heat transfer device that uniformly transfers heat to a piping system.
- the temperature of the fluid may be controlled by heating the pipe.
- the pipe is heated by transferring heat from the heater arranged so as to cover the entire outer surface of the pipe heating cover through the cover.
- the temperature distribution is generated in the pipe due to different contact conditions between the heater and the cover and the heat generation distribution of the heater itself, it is difficult to heat the pipe uniformly.
- the heat transfer amount from the covering to the pipe is increased by heat conduction in the portion where the covering is in contact with the pipe. If the amount of heat transfer from the jacket to the pipe varies in the circumferential direction of the pipe, the temperature distribution of the pipe will be disturbed, so contact between the cover and the pipe will be as constant as possible. It is necessary to adjust the conditions. Therefore, fine adjustment is required when attaching the covering so as to surround the pipe, and there is a problem that the assemblability of the apparatus is lowered, that is, the man-hours during the assembly are increased and the cost is increased.

- Equipment may be included in the piping system 10.
- the heat transfer block 30 that covers the piping system 10 is made of a highly heat conductive material typified by a metal material such as aluminum or copper. If the heat transfer block 30 is made of aluminum, the heat transfer block 30 can be reduced in weight, and if the surface of the heat transfer block 30 facing the piping system 10 is anodized, the heat transfer efficiency by radiation can be improved. In addition, it is desirable that the heat transfer block 30 be made of copper, since the heat conductivity can be further increased and water having good thermal characteristics can be used as the working fluid of the heat pipe 40.
- the heat pipe 40 is a conventional wick type heat pipe and includes a hollow portion formed in the heat transfer block 30.
- the hollow portion is a sealed space, and is formed as a vacuum space that is evacuated and decompressed.
- a wick 42 formed of a porous material having a capillary force is provided on the inner surface of the hollow portion.

- the working fluid has a property (condensability) of being heated to evaporate and dissipating heat to condense.
- the heat pipe 40 can be formed by injecting an appropriate amount of this condensable working fluid into a hollow portion that is a sealed space that is vacuum-depressurized.
- the working fluid heated and vaporized in the high temperature portion where the heater 52 is disposed moves in the hollow portion, condenses on the wall surface of the relatively low temperature portion in the hollow portion, and releases latent heat.
- the hollow part is heated evenly.
- the condensed working fluid is returned to the high temperature portion by the capillary action of the wick 42. By repeating this, heat transport from the high temperature part to the low temperature part is performed.

- the heat transfer block 30 that surrounds the connecting portion 19 is formed inside the heat transfer block 30 along the extending direction of the piping system 10.
- the heat pipe 40 surrounds the entire extending direction of the first pipe 12, the second pipe 14, and the connecting portion 16.
- Any heat source can be used as the heater 52 that evaporates the working fluid by heating the heat pipe 40.
- an electric heater, a heating medium circulation heater, an induction heating heater, or the like can be applied.
- the heater 52 is in thermal contact with the heat transfer block 30 so as to heat the heat pipe 40 on the side close to the device 110. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the heater 52 is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical heat transfer block 30. The heater 52 is only required to be in thermal contact with the heat transfer block 30 and to transfer heat to the heat pipe 40 via the heat transfer block 30, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. In addition to the configuration in contact with the surface, the heater 52 may be embedded in the heat transfer block 30. If the heater 52 can heat any one part of the heat pipe 40, the entire heat pipe 40 can be heated uniformly. Therefore, the arrangement of the heater 52 is not limited to the position shown in FIG.
- thermal contact means that heat transfer efficiency is sufficiently high between the heat transfer block 30 and the heater 52 and heat transfer efficiency is sufficiently high. It is not limited to the case where these members are in contact with each other and are in direct mechanical contact. For example, when the heater 52 is integrated with the heat transfer block 30 by brazing, welding, or the like, or when the heater 52 is indirectly in contact with a substance having a high thermal conductivity interposed therebetween, It shall be included in the state of touching.
- the entire apparatus from the device 110 to the device 120 via the first pipe 12 and the second pipe 14 is covered with the heat insulating material 50 from the outside.
- Heat transfer between the fluid conveyance device 1 and the outside is suppressed by the heat insulating material 50. Therefore, it is set as the structure which can suppress the reliquefaction of the vaporized fluid which distribute
- the heat insulating material 50 may be anything as long as it has a low thermal conductivity that acts as a barrier to suppress heat conduction. For example, a large amount of gas bubbles are contained in a solid such as glass wool or polystyrene foam. It is formed with the material which has.
- the heat transfer block 30 includes a plurality of divided blocks 32 and 34.
- the periphery of the piping system 10 is covered with a divided heat transfer block 30.
- the divided blocks 32 and 34 are semi-cylindrical shapes that can be divided along the extending direction of the piping system 10 (that is, the horizontal direction in FIG. 1 and the vertical direction in FIG. 2 and 3). Is formed.
- a hollow cylindrical heat transfer block 30 in which a cylindrical hollow space is formed is formed. Hollow portions are formed inside the divided blocks 32 and 34, and heat pipes 40 are provided in the divided blocks 32 and 34.
- the shape of the divided blocks constituting the heat transfer block 30 is not limited to the semi-cylindrical shape shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, and the number of divided blocks is not limited to two.
- the heat transfer block 30 may be formed by an arbitrary shape and the number of divided blocks, but if the heat transfer block 30 is formed by a combination of divided blocks having the same shape, the productivity of the heat transfer block 30 can be improved. desirable.
- the periphery of the piping system 10 is covered with the heat transfer block 30, a hollow portion is formed inside the heat transfer block 30, the heat pipe 40 is provided, and the heat transfer block 30 is passed through. Heat is transferred to the piping system 10.
- the heat transfer block 30 is automatically heated to be isothermal by the heat transport function of the heat pipe 40, so that the uniformity of the amount of heat transferred to the piping system 10 can be improved.
- the temperature distribution is generated in the pipe due to different contact conditions between the heater and the heat transfer block and due to the heat generation distribution of the heater itself. To do. Therefore, it is difficult to control the piping system to be isothermal.
- heat equalization can be ensured over the entire heat transfer block 30 by adopting a structure in which the heat pipe 40 is formed in the heat transfer block 30. Accordingly, it is possible to provide the heat transfer device 20 that can transmit heat evenly to the piping system 10 and can accurately control the temperature of the entire piping system.
- the heater 52 that heats the heat transfer block 30 may heat only a part of the heat transfer block 30. That is, the heater 52 only needs to be arranged in a part of the heat transfer block 30. Therefore, the heater 52 can be reduced in size, size and price, and the amount of energy consumed by the heater 52 can be reduced, so that the running cost of the heat transfer device 20 can be reduced.
- the thickness of the heat transfer block 30 may be a minimum thickness that can ensure the strength against the internal pressure of the working fluid of the heat pipe 40, and the heat transfer block 30 can be downsized. Therefore, since the heat capacity of the heat transfer block 30 can be reduced, the capacity of the heater 52 at the time of temperature rise can be reduced, and the energy consumption can be reduced. And the heat-transfer block 30 can be reduced in weight.
- the circumference of the heat insulating material 50 covering the outer periphery of the heat transfer block 30 can be shortened, and the area of the outer surface of the heat insulating material 50 can be reduced.
- the amount of heat released from the surface of the heat insulating material 50 to the surroundings is proportional to the surface area of the heat insulating material 50, and the input of the heater 52 at the normal time of the heat transfer device 20 corresponds to the amount of heat released from the heat insulating material 50 to the surroundings. Therefore, since the input of the heater 52 can be reduced by shortening the cross-sectional circumferential length of the heat insulating material 50 and reducing the surface area of the heat insulating material 50, the energy consumption can be further reduced.
- the surface temperature of the heat transfer block 30 is automatically equalized by the heat pipe 40, and the entire heat transfer block 30 covers the piping system 10 with a temperature-uniform surface. It becomes. Therefore, the contact condition between the heat transfer block 30 and the piping system 10 does not significantly affect the temperature distribution of the piping system 10. Therefore, since adjustment of the contact conditions between the heat transfer block 30 and the piping system 10 is not necessary, the assembling property of the apparatus can be improved, and the man-hour and the cost during assembly can be reduced.
- a gap is formed between the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical heat transfer block 30 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 and the outer surface of the piping system 10 surrounded by the heat transfer block 30.
- the inner diameter of the portion of the heat transfer block 30 that covers the first pipe 12 is larger than the outer diameter of the first pipe 12 by a predetermined dimension.
- the inner diameter of the portion of the heat transfer block 30 that covers the connecting portion 16 is larger than the outer diameter of the connecting portion 16 by a predetermined dimension.
- the gap By forming the gap in this way, an error that occurs when the piping system 10 is assembled can be allowed, so that the assembling property of the piping system 10 can be improved.
- the contact condition between the heat transfer block 30 and the piping system 10 does not significantly affect the temperature distribution of the piping system 10, and the piping system 10 depends on the presence or absence of a gap between the heat transfer block 30 and the piping system 10. The temperature distribution of is not greatly affected.
- the piping system 10 is covered with a plurality of divided blocks 32 and 34 and heated.
- the heat pipe 40 is embedded in the divided blocks 32 and 34.
- the heat transfer device 20 capable of heating the existing piping system 10 evenly can be easily installed.
- FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram illustrating the configuration of the heat transfer device according to the second embodiment.
- FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view of the heat transfer device taken along line VV in FIG.
- the heat transfer device 20 of the second embodiment extends the piping system 10 on the inner diameter side of the heat transfer block 30, which is closer to the piping system 10 than the heat pipe 40.
- the present embodiment is different from the first embodiment in that a plurality of tubular spaces 31 extending along the present direction are formed.
- connection part 16 which connects the 1st piping 12 and the 2nd piping 14 becomes a part with a larger diameter than the 1st piping 12 and the 2nd piping 14, such as a linear joint and an elbow. Yes. Therefore, when the heat pipe 40 is configured to include hollow portions that extend to both ends of the heat transfer block 30, the inner diameter of the heat transfer block 30 surrounding the first pipe 12 and the second pipe 14. On the side, there is a thick portion (see FIGS. 1 and 2). When this thick portion exists, the heat transfer block 30 is weighted and the heat capacity of the heat transfer block 30 is increased.

- a joint, an elbow, a tee, or the like is used for the connecting part 16 that connects the first pipe 12 and the second pipe 14, and the connecting part 16 has a larger diameter than the first pipe 12 and the second pipe 14. Therefore, when the heat pipe 40 is provided in the heat transfer block 30 that surrounds the connecting portion, the heat transfer block 30 needs to have a diameter that allows the heat pipe 40 to be embedded, and the heat transfer block 30 is enlarged.
- the heat pipe 40 is divided into the first circuit 44 and the second circuit 46, and the connecting portion 16 is covered only with the heat transfer block 30.
- the heat pipe 40 can be embedded at a position on the inner diameter side of the heat transfer block 30 close to the first pipe 12 and the second pipe 14. The diameter can be reduced. Therefore, since the heat transfer block 30 can be reduced in size, effects such as weight reduction and heat capacity reduction of the heat transfer block 30 can be obtained more remarkably.
- the heat pipe 40 is not disposed around the connecting portion 16.
- the heat transfer from the heat transfer block 30 heated by the first circuit 44 and the second circuit 46 heats the heat transfer block 30 surrounding the connecting portion 16, whereby heat is transferred to the connecting portion 16.
- the heat transfer block 30 is formed of a material having good thermal conductivity such as aluminum or copper, and the distance between the heat pipe 40 (that is, the first circuit 44 and the second circuit 46) and the connecting portion 16 is small, Even if heat transfer to the connecting portion 16 is performed only by heat conduction, the temperature distribution of the entire piping system 10 can be sufficiently reduced, and the entire piping system 10 can be heated uniformly.
- the outer peripheral surface of the heat transfer block 30 is sufficiently insulated with the heat insulating material 50.
- heat can be favorably transferred from the first circuit 44 and the second circuit 46 to the connecting portion 16 via the heat transfer block 30.

- the heat pipe 40 is formed in such a manner that the dimension in the radial direction is changed so as to get over the connecting portion 16.
- One heater 52 is provided in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the heat transfer block 30. In this example, the heater 52 heats the end of the heat pipe 40 on the side close to the device 110.
- the outer diameter of the connecting portion 16 is larger than the outer diameter of the first pipe 12 and the outer diameter of the second pipe 14.
- the outer diameter of the heat transfer block 30 is adjusted so that the heat pipe 40 can be embedded in the heat transfer block 30.
- the heat transfer block 30 surrounding the first pipe 12 and the heat transfer block 30 surrounding the second pipe 14 have a smaller outer diameter than the heat transfer block 30 surrounding the connecting portion 16.
- the heat transfer block 30 changes its outer diameter in the extending direction.
- the heat transfer block 30 is formed so that the outer diameter of the portion surrounding the connecting portion 16 is the largest, and the outer diameter of the portion surrounding the first pipe 12 and the second pipe 14 is relatively small. Yes.
- the heat transfer block 30 surrounding the first pipe 12 and the second pipe 14 can be formed with a small diameter, and thus the weight of the heat transfer block 30 can be reduced. A reduction in heat capacity can be achieved.
- the heater 52 for heating the heat pipe 40 may be provided at one place. Since the heat pipe 40 of the present embodiment has a bent portion that is curved or bent, the heat transfer performance may be reduced as compared with the heat pipes of the first to third embodiments. However, if the heat pipe 40 is provided so that sufficient heat transfer performance can be exhibited and heat can be evenly transmitted to the entire heat transfer block 30, the heat transfer block 30 can be downsized and the heater 52 can be reduced. The configuration of this embodiment is advantageous in terms of reducing the number.
- the heater 52 can be arbitrarily arranged. That is, the heater 52 may contact an arbitrary position on the outer surface of the heat transfer block 30 or may be embedded at an arbitrary position inside the heat transfer block 30.
- FIG. 10 is a schematic diagram illustrating the configuration of the heat transfer device according to the fifth embodiment.
- the heat pipe 40 includes the first circuit 44 and the second circuit 46 as in the third embodiment, heat is supplied to both the first circuit 44 and the second circuit 46.
- the heater 52 to be added is arranged at only one place.
- the heater 52 as an example of the heating unit is in thermal contact with the heat transfer block 30 surrounding the coupling unit 16.
