Abstract

본 발명은 지렁이의 생식소 재생능력을 이용한 형질전환 지렁이의 제조방법, 이에 의해 제조된 형질전환 지렁이, 및 형질전환 지렁이의 체액으로부터 재조합 단백질의 생산방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 형질전환 지렁이의 제조방법은, 종래의 형질전환기술의 단점들을 보완하는 형태의 새로운 생명공학적 기법으로 높은 주입 효율성을 가지고, 배아줄기세포와 같은 전능성을 가지는 재생아세포를 사용함으로써 형질전환체의 모든 부위에 재조합 유전자를 삽입시킬 수 있어서 형질전환체의 체액을 통하여 재조합 단백질을 생산할 수 있으며, 생식소에 표적 유전자를 직접 투입함으로써 대리모(동물)가 필요없으며, 생식가능한 형질전환체를 이용하므로 지속적으로 다수의 형질전환체를 생산할 수 있고, 기존의 형질전환기술 보다 간편하며, 고가의 장비 및 숙련된 기술이 필요하지 않다.
