Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif qui permet, grâce à une polymérisation fiable d'un agent d'étanchéité, de réduire le nombre d'occurrences de défauts d'affichage et qui empêche en outre le substrat de se détacher à la périphérie (et en particulier aux quatre coins) ; et durant le procédé de fabrication, du fait que le substrat ne se détache pas facilement, le rendement augmente et la fiabilité du dispositif s'améliore. Le dispositif de fabrication d'afficheur à cristaux liquides décrit fabrique des afficheurs à cristaux liquides par stratification de deux substrats inférieur et supérieur, au moins un des deux substrats inférieur et supérieur étant un rouleau de film plastique. Le dispositif décrit est pourvu, selon l'ordre du procédé de fabrication, d'une unité de création de motif d'agent d'étanchéité (2), qui crée le motif d'agent d'étanchéité sur la face de stratification d'un des substrats ; d'une unité d'application goutte à goutte de cristaux liquides (3), qui applique des cristaux liquides au goutte à goutte selon le motif d'agent d'étanchéité sur la face de stratification du substrat ; d'une unité de stratification de substrats (4) qui stratifie la face de stratification du substrat sur l'autre substrat ; et une unité de polymérisation d'agent d'étanchéité (5), qui polymérise l'agent d'étanchéité du motif d'agent d'étanchéité dans les substrats inférieur et supérieur joints.
