- each overhanging on the arm placed on each armrest during the reclining operation since a gap corresponding to at least the thickness of the user's arm is formed between each overhanging portion and each armrest, each overhanging on the arm placed on each armrest during the reclining operation. It can suppress that a part contacts.
- the massage machine preferably further includes a turning mechanism for connecting the pair of side walls to the backrest so as to be turnable in the left-right direction.
- the side walls can be turned left and right, the side walls can be folded so that the side walls do not get in the way. Therefore, for example, the size when packing the massage machine can be reduced.
- the turning mechanism is configured such that the turning mechanism locks the side walls at a position where the pair of side walls extend forward from the backrest and unlocks the side walls. It is preferable to have a state.
- the rotation mechanism can be switched between the unlocked state in which each side wall can be rotated and the locked state in which each side wall is locked, the user can be massaged with each side wall locked.
- the side walls can be folded into a compact form during periods other than massage.
- the massage machine further includes a slide mechanism for connecting the pair of side walls so as to be slidable in the vertical direction with respect to the backrest.
- each side wall can be slid up and down according to the user's physique, so that more effective massage can be performed.
- the amount of protrusion of the pair of side walls going forward from the backrest is larger in the lower part than in the upper part.
- the amount of protrusion of each side wall in the forward direction is reduced toward the top, so that the field of view of the user held by the backrest portion can be expanded. Furthermore, according to the said massage machine, the size at the time of packing can be reduced compared with the case where the protrusion amount to the front of each side wall is made constant in the up-down direction.
- the width dimension in the front-rear direction of the pair of massage members is preferably larger in the lower part than in the upper part.
- the expansion amount of the lower part of the massage member is larger than the expansion amount of the upper part of the massage member, it is possible to perform massage with almost equal strength regardless of the height of the back.
- a massage machine having a form in which the side wall holding the massage member and the backrest have a sense of unity.
