Abstract

L'invention porte sur une composition antibactérienne qui présente une bonne aptitude à la dispersion dans l'eau et qui permet de réduire considérablement l'apparition du jaunissement d'une matière de base, ou autre, qui est soumise à un traitement antibactérien. La composition antibactérienne comporte une résine polyester et un agent antibactérien contenant de l'argent, la résine polyester étant obtenue par la réaction entre des composants polymérisables comportant un composant acide téréphtalique et/ou un composant acide isophtalique comme composant acide carboxylique et au moins un polyalkylèneglycol comme composant glycol. Dans la composition antibactérienne, la résine polyester possède un segment issu du polyalkylèneglycol. Par conséquent, la composition antibactérienne présente une excellente aptitude à la dispersion dans l'eau et une dispersion aqueuse contenant la composition antibactérienne peut être facilement préparée. En outre, lorsqu'un traitement antibactérien d'une matière de base, ou autre, est effectué à l'aide de la composition antibactérienne, le jaunissement de la matière de base, ou autre, peut être considérablement réduit.
