Definitions
- the present invention relates to a portable terminal device such as a portable telephone and an electronic device including the same, and more particularly, to improvement of the waterproof structure of each member of the portable terminal device.
- a housing of an electronic device such as a mobile phone has a waterproof structure to which rainwater and the like do not enter.
- the housing of the electronic device is composed of, for example, a front case and a rear case made of synthetic resin, and compressed in the fitting direction with a waterproof packing such as a rubber O-ring interposed on the mating face of both cases Waterproof.
- a waterproof packing such as a rubber O-ring interposed on the mating face of both cases Waterproof.
- Patent Document 1 describes a method of sealing an apparatus in which members are brought into close contact with each other using a tacky double-sided tape.
- Patent Document 2 describes a portable terminal device having a waterproof structure around the key sheet, in which a convex rib is provided on a rubber key sheet, and a convex rib is also provided on the upper cover.
- the sealing performance is all dependent on the reliable attachment of the double-sided tape. If the adhesion is insufficient due to the double-sided tape being twisted or the like, the sealing performance may be extremely deteriorated to be unable to maintain waterproofness. Moreover, a double-sided tape is easy to form a bubble and a clearance gap at the time of affixing, and may not be able to keep waterproof. In particular, in the case of a double-sided tape used in a very narrow gap, a twist or a gap is likely to occur.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a portable terminal device and an electronic device capable of securing excellent sealing performance without causing twist, air bubbles, gaps and the like in a double-sided tape.
- the portable terminal device and the electronic device according to the present invention are attached to a first member having an opening, a waterproof wall surrounding the opening of the first member, and an upper surface of the waterproof wall, and the waterproof wall And a waterproof double-sided tape for sticking the waterproof wall and the second member, wherein the waterproof wall is a convex that protrudes toward the waterproof double-sided tape.

- the convex ribs 213 and 218 are disposed at positions where the front and back surfaces of the antenna plate 215 do not overlap.
- the convex ribs 213 and 218 may have any shape as long as they are convex.
- the curved surface has a semicircular shape.
- the waterproof double-sided adhesive tape 214, 219 is a double-sided adhesive sheet-like sealing material. As shown in FIG. 8, die-cut is performed in advance according to the shape of the surface to be sealed.
- a waterproof wall 212 having a convex rib 213 is formed on the surface of the support substrate 210. Also, on the back surface of the substrate 216, a waterproof wall 217 (FIG. 10) having a convex rib 218 (FIG. 10) is formed.
- the first waterproof double-sided tape 214, the antenna plate 215, the second waterproof double-sided tape 219, and the substrate 216 are sequentially stacked on the upper surface of the waterproof wall 212.
- the substrate 216 is pressed from above. Under pressure, the upper surface of the waterproof wall 212 and the back surface of the antenna plate 215, and the upper surface of the waterproof wall 217 and the surface of the antenna plate 215 are adhered by the waterproof double-sided adhesive tapes 214 and 219, respectively.
- the convex ribs 213, 218 particularly strongly press the waterproof double-sided tape 214, 219 at the point of contact.
- the waterproof double-sided adhesive tape 214, 219 receives strong stress at the contact point of the convex ribs 213, 218 (FIG. 10), and adheres tightly to the front and back of the antenna plate 215 while being slightly deformed.
- the waterproof double-sided adhesive tape 214, 219 (FIG. 10) is sandwiched between the convex ribs 213, 218 (FIG. 10) and the antenna plate 215 and pressed with a strong force.
- the adhesion of the waterproof double-sided adhesive tape 214, 219 is improved, and therefore the adhesiveness of the waterproof double-sided adhesive tape 214, 219 is also improved, and excellent sealing performance can be ensured.
- convex ribs 213 and 218 (FIG. 10) have a convex shape that absorbs negative elements such as twists, air bubbles and gaps of the waterproof double-sided tape 214 and 219, which enables reliable sealing. .
- the mobile terminal device 100 includes the camera unit 113, the speaker unit 114, the charging terminal unit 116, the key operation unit 117, the antenna unit 118, the main display 121, and the sub display 122.
- a waterproof structure it has a convex rib for pressing a waterproof double-sided tape with an edge-like protrusion.
- the sub display 122 includes a display unit 151 having a display opening 151a, a waterproof wall 152 having a convex rib 153 formed on the surface of the display unit 151, and an upper surface of the waterproof wall 152 having a convex rib 153.
- a waterproof double-sided tape 154 for adhering the inner surface of the sub display outer case 155.
- the waterproof double-sided tape 154 is particularly strongly pressed. As a result, the adhesion of the waterproof double-sided tape 154 is improved, and therefore the adhesiveness of the waterproof double-sided tape 154 is also improved, and excellent sealing can be ensured.
- the above functions are the same in the camera unit 113, the speaker unit 114, the charging terminal unit 116, the key operation unit 117, the antenna unit 118, and the main display 121. In the present embodiment, reliable waterproofness is realized in each part.
- the convex rib 153 can prevent the twisting of the waterproof double-sided tape 154 due to the height (protrusion) of the convex shape. For the same reason, the convex rib 153 can properly release air bubbles, gaps and the like generated in the waterproof double-sided tape 154. This allows for a secure seal.
- the waterproof double-sided tape 154 is used, compared to the method of pressing the case and a predetermined part with a sealing material such as rubber packing, even if the strength of the case or the part is low, the excellent clearance is excellent. There is an effect of being able to secure the airtightness.
- the convex rib may be annularly surrounded around the member having the opening, and at least one may be provided, but a plurality of annular ribs can be provided.
- the camera part 113, the speaker part 114, the charge terminal part 116, the key operation part 117, the antenna part 118, the main display 121, and the sub display 122 were illustrated as a waterproof structure of the portable terminal device 100, members other than these The same structure can be applied. It goes without saying that the present invention may be applied to any one or more of these.
- the portable information terminal is not limited to a portable telephone, a portable information terminal such as PDA, a personal computer or a device integrated with it, and MP3.
- the present invention is applicable to portable devices such as players, HDD players and portable game machines.
- the name “mobile terminal device” is used, this is for convenience of explanation, and it goes without saying that the waterproof structure of the electronic device or the electronic device such as the portable electronic device may be used. .
- a waterproof double-sided tape may be called a double-sided adhesive tape, a double-sided adhesive sheet, or simply a double-sided tape.
- the portable terminal device and the electronic device according to the present invention are useful for waterproof structure application of a housing or a member of an electronic device which performs battery drive such as a mobile phone. Moreover, it is also possible to install in various electronic devices as a waterproof structure of not only a housing
