Claims (5)
- 少なくとも1つのカードスロットを有し、前記カードスロットに挿入されたカード装置によって機能を発揮する本体装置に挿入されるカード装置であって、
扁平矩形状のカード基体と、
前記カード基体の内部に設けられ、前記カード装置の機能を発揮させるために電源の供給が必要な内部回路と、
前記カードスロットに挿入された状態で前記カードスロットの内面に接するいずれかの辺に設けられ、前記本体装置から電源供給を受けるための本体コネクタと、
前記カードスロットに挿入された状態でカードスロットの開口側に位置する端辺に設けられ、外部電源から電源供給を受けるための外部コネクタと、を備え、
前記本体コネクタと前記外部コネクタとのうち、電源供給を受けるいずれか一方のコネクタから前記内部回路の動作に必要な電力供給を受けることを特徴とするカード装置。 - 前記本体コネクタは、前記外部コネクタが設けられている辺の対辺であって、当該カード装置がカードスロットに挿入された状態で前記カードスロットの最奥側に位置する辺に設けられている請求項1記載のカード装置。
- 前記カード装置は、前記内部回路と前記本体コネクタ及び前記外部コネクタとの接続を制御する電源制御手段をさらに備え、
前記電源制御手段は、
前記本体コネクタから電源が供給される場合には、前記内部回路と前記本体コネクタとを接続するとともに、前記内部回路と前記外部コネクタとを遮断し、
前記外部コネクタから電源が供給される場合には、前記内部回路と前記外部コネクタとを接続するとともに、前記内部回路と前記外部コネクタとを遮断することを特徴とする請求項1または2記載のカード装置。 - カードスロット内に挿入され、電力供給が必要な内部回路を備えるカード装置の電力供給方法であって、
前記カードスロットの内面から電力を供給する場合は、前記カードスロットの開口側からの電力の供給を遮断し、
前記開口側から電力を供給する場合は、前記内面からの電力の供給を遮断するカード装置の電力供給方法。 - 前記カード装置は、
前記カードスロットに挿入された状態で前記カードスロットの内面に接する位置に設けられ、本体装置から電源供給を受けるための本体コネクタと、
前記カードスロットに挿入された状態で前記カードスロットの開口側であって前記カードスロットの外部に設けられ、外部電源から電源供給を受けるための外部コネクタと、をさらに備え、
前記内部回路と前記本体コネクタとを接続する場合は、前記内部回路と前記外部コネクタとの接続を遮断し、
前記内部回路と前記外部コネクタとを接続する場合は、前記内部回路と前記本体コネクタとの接続を遮断する請求項4に記載のカード装置の電力供給方法。
