 デジタルスチルカメラのダスト除去装置等により振動などの外力が加えられた場合であっても、強度が高く破損等のおそれなく用いることができる近赤外線カットフィルタガラスを提供すること。 カチオン%表示で、P5+ 33~43%、Al3+ 10~20%、Li+ 15~25%、Na+ 0.5~5%、K+ 0~5%、Mg2+ 0.5~9%、Ca2+ 0.5~9%、Sr2+ 0.5~9%、Ba2+ 0.5~7%、Zn2+ 0.5~9%、Cu2+ 1.5~8%、を含有すると共に、アニオン%表示で、O2- 50~95%、F- 5~50%、を含むことを特徴とする近赤外線カットフィルタガラス。

Description

近赤外線カットフィルタガラス
 本発明は、デジタルスチルカメラやカラービデオカメラなどの色補正フィルタに使用され、振動等の外力に対して強度が高い近赤外線カットフィルタガラスに関するものである。
 デジタルスチルカメラ等に使用されるCCDやCMOSなどの固体撮像素子は、可視領域から1100nm付近の近赤外領域にわたる分光感度を有している。したがって、そのままでは良好な色再現性を得ることができないので、赤外線を吸収する特定の物質が添加された近赤外線カットフィルタガラスを用いて視感度を補正している。この近赤外線カットフィルタガラスは、近赤外域の波長を選択的に吸収し、かつ高い耐候性を有するように、フツリン酸塩系ガラスにCuOを添加した光学ガラスが開発され使用されている。これらガラスとしては、特許文献1~特許文献4に組成が開示されている。
 他方、固体撮像素子が用いられるデジタルスチルカメラとして、一眼レフレックスタイプが普及しつつある。このタイプのカメラでは、近赤外線カットフィルタガラスなどの光学ガラスの透光面に付着したチリ・埃が撮像画像に写り込むため、光学ガラスを振動してこれらを弾き落とす、いわゆるダスト除去装置が搭載されることが多い。

 近赤外線カットフィルタガラスに用いられるフツリン酸塩系ガラスは、光学ガラスに用いられる他のガラス組成系と比べてガラスの硬度が低いため、光学研磨を行うと、端部に微小な欠けやキズを生じる割合が高いという問題がある。
 また、固体撮像素子を用いたカメラ等は、小型化・薄型化が進展している。それに伴い撮像デバイスおよびその搭載機器の小型化、薄型化も進展しており、さらにはそれらに使用される光学ガラスにも非常に薄いものが求められるようになっている。しかし、フツリン酸塩系ガラスからなる近赤外線カットフィルタガラスを例えば0.3~0.5mm程度の薄い板厚で用いる場合、これらガラスに上記ダスト除去装置で強振動を加えることに対して信頼性上の課題が懸念されている。しかし、上記特許文献には、近赤外線カットフィルタ用のフツリン酸塩系ガラスの強度について、課題認識はなく考慮もされていない。
 本発明は上記事情に鑑みてなされたもので、デジタルスチルカメラのダスト除去装置等により振動などの外力が加えられた場合であっても、強度が高く破損等のおそれなく用いることができる近赤外線カットフィルタガラスを提供することを目的とする。
 本発明者は、上記目的を達成するため鋭意検討を重ねた結果、フツリン酸塩系ガラス組成を特定範囲とすることで従来のフツリン酸塩系ガラスからなる近赤外線カットフィルタガラスより破壊靭性が高く、振動等の外力にて破損しない強度の高い近赤外線カットフィルタガラスが得られることを見出した。
 本発明の近赤外線カットフィルタガラスは、

 また、本発明の近赤外線カットフィルタガラスは、カチオン%換算で、Na/(Li+Na)=0.02~0.25であることを特徴とする。
  また、本発明の近赤外線カットフィルタガラスは、カチオン%換算で、(Mg2++Ca2++Zn2+)/(Mg2++Ca2++Sr2++Ba2++Zn2+)=0.50~0.80であることを特徴とする。
 また、本発明の近赤外線カットフィルタガラスは、カチオン%換算で、(Mg2++Ca2++Sr2++Ba2++Zn2+)の合計含有量の割合が10%~40%であることを特徴とする。
 また、本発明の近赤外線カットフィルタガラスは、破壊靭性(Kc)が、0.40MPa・mm1/2以上であることを特徴とする。
 また、本発明の近赤外線カットフィルタガラスは、実質的にPbO、As、Sb、CeOを含まないことを特徴とする。
 また、本発明の近赤外線カットフィルタガラスは、波長600~700nmの分光透過率において、透過率50%を示す波長が616nmとなるように換算した場合に、波長400nmにおける分光透過率が77%以上、波長500nmにおける分光透過率が86%以上であり、かつ厚さ0.3mmに換算した場合に、波長600~700nmの分光透過率において、透過率50%を示す波長が650nm以下であることを特徴とする。
 本明細書において、「~」とは、その前後に記載される数値を下限値及び上限値として含む意味で使用される。
 本発明によれば、ガラス材料の中では比較的硬度が低いフツリン酸塩系ガラスであっても、ガラス組成を特定範囲とすることで、破壊靭性の高いガラスが得られ、これにより振動等の外力が作用した場合においても破損することがない強度の高い近赤外線カットフィルタガラスを提供することが可能となる。
 本発明は、上記構成により目的を達成したものであり、本発明のガラスを構成する各成分の含有量(カチオン%、アニオン%表示)を上記のように限定した理由を以下に説明する。
 P5+は、ガラスを形成する主成分(ガラス形成酸化物)であり、破壊靱性を向上させ、また可視領域の透過率を向上させ近赤外領域のカット性高めるための必須成分であるが、33%未満ではその効果が十分得られず、43%を超えるとガラスが不安定になり液相温度が高くなること、また耐候性が低下するため好ましくない。好ましくは34~41%であり、より好ましくは35~39%である。
 Al3+は、破壊靱性を向上させ、耐候性を高めるための必須成分であるが、10%未満ではその効果が十分得られず、20%を超えるとガラスが不安定になること、また分光特性が低下するため好ましくない。好ましくは11~16%であり、より好ましくは12~14%である。なお、Al3+の原料としては、AlFまたはAl(POの方がAlより溶解温度の上昇防止や未融物の発生防止、およびF-の仕込み量の確保の点で好ましい。
 Liは、ガラスの溶融温度を低くする、ガラスを軟化させるための必須成分であるが、15%未満ではその効果が十分得られず、25%を超えるとガラスが不安定になること、また、破壊靱性が小さくなるため好ましくない。好ましくは、17~23%であり、より好ましくは、19~21%である。なお、Liの原料としては、LiFまたはLiNOの方がLiOよりF-の仕込み量の確保やガラスの安定性の点で好ましい。
 Naは、可視領域の透過率を向上させる、ガラスの溶融温度を低くする、ガラスを軟化させるための必須成分であるが、0.5%未満ではその効果が十分得られず、5%を超えると破壊靱性が小さくなること、およびガラスが不安定になるため好ましくない。好ましくは1~3%であり、より好ましくは1~2.5%であり、一層好ましくは1.5~2%である。
 Kは、必須成分ではないものの、ガラスの溶融温度を低くする、ガラスを軟化させる効果があるが、5%を超えると耐候性が低下するため好ましくない。好ましくは0~3%であり、より好ましくは0~2%である。
 Naは、Liに比べ可視領域の透過率を向上させる効果が大きいものの、破壊靱性を下げる効果も大きい。近赤外線カットフィルタガラスにおいては、可視領域の透過率はできる限り高いことが求められる。そのため、本発明のガラスにおいては、Na/(Li+Na)を特定範囲とすることで、破壊靭性と可視領域の透過率の両性能を高めることを可能とした。Na/(Li+Na)が、0.02未満であると可視域透過率が十分ではなく、0.25を超えると破壊靭性が低くなるため好ましくない。好ましくは0.03~0.15であり、より好ましくは0.05~0.1である。
 Mg2+は、ガラスの破壊靱性を高くするための必須成分であるが、0.5%未満ではその効果が十分得られず、9%を超えるとガラスが不安定となるため好ましくない。好ましくは1~8%であり、より好ましくは2~7%である。
 Ca2+は、ガラスの破壊靱性を高くするための必須成分であるが、0.5%未満ではその効果が十分得られず、9%を超えるとガラスが不安定となるため好ましくない。好ましくは1~8%であり、より好ましくは2~7%である。
 Sr2+は、ガラスを安定化するための必須成分であるが、0.5%未満ではその効果が十分得られず、9%を超えると破壊靭性が低くなるため好ましくない。好ましくは1~8%であり、より好ましくは2~7%である。
 Ba2+は、ガラスを安定化するための必須成分であるが、0.5%未満ではその効果が十分得られず、7%を超えると破壊靭性が低くなるため好ましくない。好ましくは1~6%であり、より好ましくは2~5%である。
 Zn2+は、ガラスの破壊靱性を高くするための必須成分であるが、0.5%未満ではその効果が十分得られず、9%を超えるとガラスが不安定となるため好ましくない。好ましくは1~8%であり、より好ましくは2~7%である。
 本発明のガラスにおいては、Mg2+、Ca2+、Sr2+、Ba2+、Zn2+を全て必須成分としている。これは、単一ないし4種類のアルカリ土類金属成分を用いた場合とこれら5種類のアルカリ土類金属成分を全て用いた場合とでは、5種類の成分を全て含有した方がガラスの安定性がより高いためである。なお、これら5成分の合計の含有量は、10%未満であるとガラスの安定性が十分に得られず、40%を超えるとガラスが不安定となる。好ましくは12~35%であり、より好ましくは15~30%である
 本発明者は、アルカリ土類金属の各成分とガラスの破壊靭性との関係を調べたところ、Mg2+、Ca2+およびZn2+は、Sr2+、Ba2+と比べ、ガラスの破壊靱性を高める効果が大きいことを確認し、(Mg2++Ca2++Zn2+)/(Mg2++Ca2++Sr2++Ba2++Zn2+)を特定範囲とすることで、ガラスの破壊靭性を高めることが可能であることを見出した。(Mg2++Ca2++Zn2+)/(Mg2++Ca2++Sr2++Ba2++Zn2+)が、0.50未満であると破壊靭性が小さくなり、0.80を超えるとガラスが不安定となるため好ましくない。従って、(Mg2++Ca2++Zn2+)/(Mg2++Ca2++Sr2++Ba2++Zn2+)の割合は、好ましくは0.55~0.75であり、より好ましくは0.60~0.70である。
 Cu2+は、近赤外線カットための必須成分であるが、1.5%未満であるとその効果が十分に得られず、8%を超えると可視域透過率が低下するため好ましくない。好ましくは2.5~7%であり、より好ましくは3.5~6%である。
 O2-は、ガラスを安定化させるための必須成分であるが、50%未満であるとその効果が十分得られず、95%を超えるとガラスが不安定となるため好ましくない。好ましくは50~90%であり、より好ましくは60~85%である。
 Fは、ガラスを安定化させるため、耐候性を向上させるための必須成分であるが、5%未満であるとその効果が十分得られず、50%を超えると可視域透過率が低下するおそれがあるため好ましくない。好ましくは10~50%であり、より好ましくは15~40%である。
 本発明のガラスは、PbO、As、Sb、CeOを実質的に含有しないことが好ましい。As、Sb、CeOは、幅広い温度域で清澄ガスを発生できる優れた清澄剤として従来のガラスに用いられている。また、PbOはガラスの粘度を下げ、製造作業性を向上させる成分として用いられている。しかし、PbO、As、Sbは環境負荷物質であるため、できるだけ含有しないことが望ましい。また、CeOは可視領域に吸収をもつため、可視領域の透過率が高いことが要求される固体撮像素子用フィルタの近赤外線カットフィルタガラスにおいては、できるだけ含有しないことが望ましい。また、Y3+のような希土類元素は、原料が高価であるため、できるだけ含有しないことが好ましい。ここで、実質的に含有しないとは、原料として意図して用いないことを意味しており、原料成分や製造工程から混入する不可避不純物については実質的に含有していないとみなす。また、前記不可避不純物を考慮し、実質的に含有しないとは、本発明の近赤外線カットフィルタガラスに対し、これらの含有量が、これらの酸化物換算、内掛(組成物中)で0.005質量%以下であることを意味する。
 その他の成分として、硝酸塩化合物や硫酸塩化合物を、酸化剤あるいは清澄剤として添加することができる。硝酸塩化合物や硫酸塩化合物は、400~450nm付近における透過率を改善する効果がある。硝酸塩化合物や硫酸塩化合物の添加量は、原料混合物に対し外割添加で0.5~10質量%であることが好ましい。添加量が0.5質量%では透過率改善の効果がなく、10質量%を越えるとガラスの形成が困難になる。より好ましくは1~8質量%であり、一層好ましくは3~6質量%である。またガラスを形成する陽イオンをもった硝酸塩化合物を用いることで、よりガラスを安定化できる。硝酸塩化合物としては、Al(NO 、Ba(NO 、Ca(NO、Mg(NO、LiNO、Sr(NO、NaNO、KNO、Zn(NO、Cu(NO等がある。硫酸塩化合物としては、Al(SO・16HO、BaSO、CaSO、MgSO、LiSO、SrSO、NaSO、KSO、ZnSO、CuSOがある。
 上記した「内掛」とは、ガラス全体(外割表示成分を含まない)を100%としたとき、100%の中でのそれぞれの成分割合をいう。例えば、PbOを内掛で0.005質量%含むとは、該PbOの含有量を含めたガラス全体(外割表示成分を含まない)を100%とし、かかる100%中、PbOを0.005質量%含むことをいう。一方、「外割」とは、ガラス全体(外割成分を含まない)を100%としたとき、かかる100%に含まれていない成分のガラス全体(外割表示成分を含まない)を基準にした割合をいう。例えば、Alを外割で1.0質量%含むとは、該Alの含有量を含まないガラス全体(外割表示成分を含まない)を100%として、Alを付加的に1.0質量%含むことをいう。
 本発明の近赤外線カットフィルタガラスは、ガラスの破壊靭性に注目し、この値が所定値以上となるフツリン酸塩系ガラス組成を見出したことに特徴を有する。破壊靭性とは、亀裂伝搬速度が急速になる時点の臨界応力拡大係数の値を指すものであり、これを高めることでガラスの切断や研磨などの加工において割れにくくなり、歩留まりが向上し、また仮にガラスにキズが残ったとしても、割れに対する耐性が高くなるので、製品としての機械的な耐久性が向上する。なお、破壊靭性は、ガラスの曲げ強度と相関関係があり、破壊靭性が高いほど曲げ強度も高くなる。そのため、圧電素子でガラスを振動する等、ガラスに外力が作用した場合であっても、破壊靭性が高い場合は曲げ強度が高く、破損する可能性が低くなる。
 ガラスの破壊靱性は、0.40MPa・mm1/2以上であることが好ましい。ガラスの破壊靱性が、0.40MPa・mm1/2未満であると加工工程での割れや製品の耐久性低下につながる。好ましくは0.45MPa・mm1/2以上であり、より好ましくは0.50MPa・mm1/2以上である。なお、破壊靱性が大きくなりすぎると、一般的に加工速度が遅くなり生産効率が低下するため、破壊靭性の上限としては、0.60MPa・mm1/2以下が好ましく、0.58MPa・mm1/2以下がより好ましい。
  本発明者が種々のガラスについて、研磨加工を行って、欠け、傷の発生状況を確認したところ、フツリン酸塩系ガラスであっても破壊靭性が0.40zMPa・mm1/2以上のガラスは、0.40MPa・mm1/2未満のガラスに比べて欠け、傷とも発生が少なく、その発生率に有意差が認められた。薄肉のガラス、例えば厚さが0.1mm~2mmの薄い板厚の板状ガラスは、厚肉のガラスと比べて研磨加工時に欠けやキズが発生しやすいため、近赤外線カットフィルタを薄肉に成形加工して用いる場合は、特にガラスの破壊靭性を0.50MPa・mm1/2以上とすることが好ましい。
 本発明のガラスの可視領域の透過率特性は、波長600~700nmの分光透過率において、透過率50%を示す波長が616nmとなるように換算したときに、波長400nmにおける分光透過率は、77%以上であることが好ましく、81%以上であるとより好ましく、85%以上であるとさらに好ましい。87%以上であると極めて好ましく、88%以上であるともっとも好ましい。なお、波長400nmにおける透過率の上限は、主にガラスの屈折率に依存する反射率によって決まるが、一般的にフツリン酸ガラスの場合、93%程度である。同様に透過率50%を示す波長が616nmとなるように換算したときに、波長500nmにおける分光透過率は86%以上であることが好ましく、88%以上であるとより好ましく、89%以上であるとさらに好ましく、90%以上であると極めて好ましい。91%以上であるともっとも好ましい。なお、ガラスの溶解温度が低いほど可視領域の透過率が高くなる。具体的には、ガラス溶解中の溶融雰囲気の最も高い温度を900℃以下となるガラス組成とすることで、透過率50%を示す波長が616nmとなるように換算したときに、波長400nmにおける分光透過率を81%以上、波長500nmにおける分光透過率を88%以上とすることが可能である。上記において、本発明のガラスの可視領域の透過率特性は、透過率50%を示す波長が616nmとなるように換算した透過率特性を用いている。これは、ガラスの透過率は厚みによって変化するが、均質なガラスであれば、光の透過する方向におけるガラスの厚さと透過率がわかれば、所定の厚さの透過率を計算によって求めることができるためである。
 また、本発明のガラスの可視領域の透過率特性は、厚さ0.3mmに換算したときに、波長600~700nmの分光透過率において、透過率50%を示す波長が650nm以下であることが好ましい。透過率50%を示す波長が650nmより長波長側であると、近赤外線カット性が低下し、色補正が不十分になるため好ましくない。そのため、透過率50%を示す波長は、640nm以下が好ましく、630nm以下がより好ましく、620nm以下であるともっとも好ましい。他方、透過率50%を示す波長が600nmより短波長側であると、可視領域の光もカットしてしまい、色補正が不十分になる。そのため、透過率50%を示す波長は、610nm以上が好ましい。
  本発明の近赤外線カットフィルタガラスは、上記のとおり可視領域の透過率を高いことも特徴である。固体撮像素子用フィルタは、可視領域の透過率が可及的に高いことが求められる。これは、固体撮像素子に導入する可視光を効率的に取り込むためであり、これにより固体撮像素子の感度を高めることができる。上記のとおり本発明においては、ガラスの構成成分を特定範囲とすることで、可視領域の透過率、特に400~500nmの透過率を高くすることができる。
 本発明のガラスは次のようにして作製することができる。まず得られるガラスが上記組成範囲になるように原料を秤量、混合する。この原料混合物を白金ルツボに収容し、電気炉内において700~900℃の温度で加熱熔融する。十分に攪拌・清澄した後、金型内に鋳込み、徐冷した後、切断・研磨して所定の内厚の平板状に成形する。上記製造方法において、ガラス溶解中の溶融雰囲気の最も高い温度を900℃以下にすることが好ましい。ガラス溶解中の溶融雰囲気の最も高い温度(溶解温度)が900℃を超えると、Cu酸化還元の平衡状態がCu2+からCu側に偏って透過率特性が悪化することおよびフッ素の揮散が促進されガラスが不安定になるためである。上記温度は、850℃以下であるとより好ましく、800℃以下であるともっとも好ましい。上記温度は低くなりすぎると、溶解中に結晶化が発生したり、溶解に時間がかかるため、700℃以上が好ましく、750℃以上であるとより好ましい。
 本発明の近赤外線カットフィルタガラスは、上記のガラス構成を備えることにより、ガラスが安定であることも特徴である。ガラスが安定であるとは、液相温度付近の温度域での安定性とガラス転移点Tg付近の温度域での安定性の2つが挙げられる。具体的には、液相温度付近の温度域での安定性は、液相温度が低いこと、また、液相温度付近での失透の成長が遅いことであり、ガラス転移点Tg付近の温度域での安定性は、結晶化温度Tcや結晶化開始温度Txが低いこと、Tc・Tx付近での失透の成長が遅いことである。これにより、ガラスの溶融成形工程において失透が発生しにくく、歩留まりが高い製造し易いガラスとすることが可能である。
 本発明の近赤外線カットフィルタガラスは、上記のとおり破壊靭性が高いためガラスの強度が高く、可視領域の透過率が高いため固体撮像素子に可視光を多く導入することが可能であり、さら安定したガラスであるため耐失透性に優れている。このため、固体撮像素子の色補正に用いられる近赤外線カットフィルタ用ガラスとして好適に用いることが可能である。
 本発明の実施例1~14および比較例1(特開2004-83290号公報に記載の実施例1のガラス)、比較例2(特開平01-219037号公報に記載の実施例8のガラス)、比較例3(特開平03-83834号公報に記載の実施例4のガラス)を表1、表2 に示す。これらガラスは、表に示す組成(カチオン%、アニオン%)となるよう原料を秤量・混合し、内容積約300ccの白金ルツボ内に入れて、700~1000℃で1~3時間溶融、清澄、撹拌後、およそ300から500℃に予熱した縦50mm×横50mm×高さ20mmの長方形のモールドに鋳込み後、約1℃/分で徐冷してサンプルとした。ガラスの溶解性等については、上記サンプル作製時に目視で観察し、得られたガラスサンプルには泡や脈理のないことを確認した。なお、各ガラスの原料は、P5+の場合はHPOまたはAl(POを、Al3+の場合はAlFまたはAl(POまたはAl(比較例のみ)を、Liの場合はLiFまたはLiNOまたはLiOを、Mg2+の場合はMgFまたはMgOを、Sr2+の場合はSrFまたはSrOを、Ba2+の場合はBaFまたはBaOを、Na、K、Ca2+、Zn2+、Y3+の場合はフッ化物を、Cu2+の場合はCuOを、それぞれ使用した。
 なお、表1、表2において、各ガラス成分の組成をイオニック%(カチオン%、アニオン%)およびwt%で記載したが、これは比較例2および比較例3のガラス組成がwt%で表示されていたため、本発明の実施例との正確な対比を目的として、両者を併記したものである。そのため、比較例2および比較例3のイオニック%成分記載および比較例1のwt%の成分記載は、本出願人による換算値である。

 表1および表2において、(Mg2++Ca2++Zn2+)/R2+は、(Mg2++Ca2++Zn2+)/(Mg2++Ca2++Sr2++Ba2++Zn2+)を示す。
 以上のようにして作成したガラスについて、破壊靭性、透過率、耐候性、溶解温度について以下の方法により評価を行った。
 破壊靱性Kc(MPa・mm1/2)は、ビッカース硬度測定機(AKASHI社製、商品名:MVK-H2)を用いて、光学研磨したガラスサンプルを押し込み加重P(0.05kg)でクラックを発生させた後、圧痕の対角線の長さ2a(m)および除荷後30sのクラックの長さ2c(m)を測定し、超音波パルス法により求めたヤング率(E:Pa)を用い次式により算出した。測定は、室温、大気雰囲気にて行い、c/a>2.5を満たす。1サンプルにつき5回測定を行い、最大値と最小値を除いた3点の平均より、破壊靱性Kcを求めた。

  c:クラックの長さ(m)
 透過率は、紫外可視近赤外分光光度計(PerkineLmer社製、商品名:LAMBDA 950)を用いて評価した。具体的には、縦20mm×横20mm×厚さ0.3mmの両面を光学研磨したガラスサンプルを準備し、測定を行った。
 耐候性は、高温高湿槽(エスペック社製、商品名:SH-221)を用いて、光学研磨したガラスサンプルを60℃、相対湿度95%の高温高湿槽中に1000時間保持した後のガラス表面のヤケ状態を目視観察し、ヤケが認められないものをヤケなし(耐候性問題なし)とした。
 溶解温度は、るつぼ中の溶解雰囲気の温度をR熱電対にて測定したもので、ガラス溶解中の最も高い温度を記した。
 評価結果より、比較例の各ガラスは実施例の各ガラスと比較し、ガラスの破壊靭性および可視領域の透過率が悪いことが確認された。特に、ガラスの破壊靭性は、大きな差がありガラスに外力が作用した際の機械強度に影響があると考えられる。これに対し、本発明に係る実施例の各ガラスは、破壊靭性が高くこれにより従来のガラスで生じていた研磨加工時の微小傷や欠損片による不良や外力が作用した際のガラスの破壊の可能性を少なくすることができる。また、ガラスの可視領域の透過率が高く、固体撮像素子用の近赤外線カットフィルタ用ガラスとして好適に用いることができる。また、フツリン酸塩系ガラスの持つ優れた耐候性を有するものである。
 本発明によれば、ガラスの破壊靭性が高いので、加工工程での傷、欠けの発生率が低く、また機械強度の高い近赤外線カットフィルタガラスを供給することができる。そのため、薄肉に加工しやすく小型化・薄型化する撮像デバイスの近赤外線カットフィルタ用途に極めて有用である。また、機械強度が高いため、ダスト除去装置を備える撮像デバイスの近赤外線カットフィルタ用途にも極めて有用である。
 なお、2009年4月17日に出願された日本特許出願2009-101088号の明細書、特許請求の範囲、図面及び要約書の全内容をここに引用し、本発明の開示として取り入れるものである。

Claims (7)

  1.  カチオン%表示で、
      P5+   33~43%、
      Al3+  10~20%、
      Li  15~25%、
      Na  0.5~5%、
      K  0~5%、
      Mg2+  0.5~9%、
      Ca2+  0.5~9%、
      Sr2+  0.5~9%、
      Ba2+  0.5~7%、
      Zn2+  0.5~9%、
      Cu2+  1.5~8%、
    を含有すると共に、
    アニオン%表示で、
      O2-  50~95%、
      F  5~50%、
    を含むことを特徴とする近赤外線カットフィルタガラス。
  2.  カチオン%換算で、
      Na/(Li+Na)が0.02~0.25
    であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の近赤外線カットフィルタガラス。
  3.  カチオン%換算で、
      (Mg2++Ca2++Zn2+)/(Mg2++Ca2++Sr2++Ba2++Zn2+)が0.50~0.80
    であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の近赤外線カットフィルタガラス。
  4.  カチオン%換算で、(Mg2++Ca2++Sr2++Ba2++Zn2+)の合計含有量の割合が10%~40%
    であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の近赤外線カットフィルタガラス。
  5.  破壊靭性(Kc)が、0.40MPa・mm1/2以上である
    ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の近赤外線カットフィルタガラス。
  6.  実質的にPbO、As、Sb、CeOを含まないことを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載の近赤外線カットフィルタガラス。
  7.  波長600~700nmの分光透過率において、透過率50%を示す波長が616nmとなるように換算した場合に、波長400nmにおける分光透過率が77%以上、波長500nmにおける分光透過率が86%以上であり、かつ厚さ0.3mmに換算した場合に、波長600~700nmの分光透過率において、透過率50%を示す波長が650nm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載の近赤外線カットフィルタガラス。
