Abstract

La présente invention concerne une cardeuse (1) à tambour (4) comportant un élément de travail (7, 8, 9) qui occupe toute la largeur de travail (B) du tambour (4) et qui est fixé à demeure des deux côtés à l'extérieur de la largeur de travail (B). La garniture (16) du tambour (4) et l'élément de travail (7, 8, 9) définissent entre eux un espacement (22). Selon l'invention, ladite cardeuse comporte des organes (23, 46, 47) destinés à produire une force de réglage (F) permettant de régler sur toute la largeur de travail (B) l'espacement (22) entre la garniture du tambour (16) et un élément de travail (7, 8, 9) coopérant avec la garniture du tambour (16). Lesdits organes (23, 46, 47) sont disposés à l'intérieur des éléments de travail (7, 8, 9), et la force de réglage (F) est une force magnétique.
