Abstract

본 발명은 다국어 웹페이지 번역 시스템 및 다국어 웹페이지를 번역하여 제공하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 인터넷을 통하여 특정 웹사이트에 접속하기 위한 사용자의 접속시도를 입력받는 단계; 사용자가 등록한 사용언어 또는 현재 사용자의 IP주소에 해당하는 지역에서 사용하는 사용언어를 확인하는 단계; 사용언어와 상기 웹사이트의 웹페이지에서 제공되는 원문 텍스트의 작성언어가 다른 경우, 상기 원문 텍스트를 기계번역을 통해 사용언어로 변환한 번역문을 상기 웹페이지의 원문 텍스트와 대체하여 제시하는 단계;를 포함한다. 이러한 본 발명에 따르면, 다른 언어로 작성된 웹사이트의 웹페이지를 사용자의 사용언어로 변환하여 제공할 수 있어, 사용언어 이외의 다른 언어에 대해서는 읽을 수 없다 하더라도, 다른 언어로 작성된 텍스트를 쉽게 파악할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
