Abstract

 本発明の一の態様に係る複眼撮像装置では、複数の撮像手段に加えられた振動を検出し、振動により撮像手段で撮像される被写体像の像ブレを複数の撮像手段のそれぞれに対して補正するが、この像ブレの補正は、補正後の像ブレのブレ残り量が前記複数の撮像手段間で略同一となるように補正される。これにより、撮像手段に設けられた像ブレ補正手段の動作特性や取付誤差にばらつきがある場合においても、各撮像手段に対して適切な像ブレ補正を行うことができる。また、各撮像手段における像ブレ補正後の被写体像のブレ残り量が略同一であるため、違和感がなく、自然で目が疲れない視差画像を得ることができる。
