Abstract

L'invention concerne un moyen de protection constitué d’éléments continus (2) et placé sous la bande inférieure d’une barrière (1), qui absorbe de façon continue l’énergie due à l’impact d’un motocycliste contre ladite barrière. Un élément protecteur (2) présente de préférence, en section droite, deux parties (5, 6) en V opposées l’une à l’autre et jointes par une partie centrale plate (7), (de préférence) à angle droit par rapport à la surface de la route, les parties terminales (10) de l’élément protecteur (2) étant de préférence courbées de façon à être parallèles à ladite partie centrale (7). Deux éléments protecteurs (2) adjacents sont joints l’un à l’autre par un élément (8) présentant la même forme que ladite partie centrale (7) et enfoncé dans les deux éléments protecteurs (2) adjacents et par au moins une plaque (9) fixée à un poteau (4) de support et aux parties terminales (10) des deux éléments protecteurs (2).
