- the decoder 131 decodes the stream to obtain a reproduced video and outputs it.
- the quality evaluation unit 132 calculates the quality evaluation value of the frame of the reproduced video using the received evaluation feature quantity.
- the reporting unit 133 reports the obtained quality evaluation value to the monitoring server 117.
- the monitoring server 117 collates the processing information with the quality evaluation value, and warns if there is a mismatch.
- processing information and the quality evaluation value are consistent does not necessarily mean that the evaluation feature quantity and the quality evaluation value of the processing information are exactly the same in all bits. Includes a case where the number of mismatched bits is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold. There are a plurality of threshold values for determining consistency or inconsistency between the processing information and the quality evaluation value, and each is stored in the monitoring server.
- the processing means 142 There are two types of processing by the processing means 142.
- the first processing when the decoder 131 decodes the stream normally, the feature quantity is set so that the quality evaluation value obtained by the quality evaluation means 132 is outside the quality standard. Is modified. Here, “to become” means to make an evaluation out of quality standards in the upstream when evaluating downstream.
- the second processing when the decoder 131 normally decodes the stream, the quality evaluation value obtained by the quality evaluation unit 132 modifies the feature amount within a range that satisfies the quality standard. Since the second processing is an evaluation within a normal range, the problem can be solved without using it.
- a plurality of formats can be considered for the quality evaluation value.
- the quality evaluation value is a binary value indicating whether or not a predetermined quality standard is satisfied, whether or not the quality evaluation value indicates deterioration in the monitoring server 117 represents the binary value itself.
- scalar values representing absolute quality and degradation amount, and vector values representing several quality items can be used. In such a case, these values are used as quality standards by the monitoring server 117. Judgment is made as to whether or not the condition is satisfied, and it is determined whether or not the quality evaluation value indicates deterioration.
- the combination of the processing information and the quality evaluation value is consistent when there is no deterioration without processing, there is deterioration with the first processing, and there is no deterioration with the second processing. Judge. Otherwise it is inconsistent. If the quality evaluation value for the evaluation feature quantity without processing indicates deterioration, a warning is given that the image quality has actually deteriorated. If the quality evaluation value for the evaluation feature quantity of the first processing does not indicate deterioration, a warning is given that the quality evaluation means 132 or the reporting means 133 in the client 130 may contain a defect.
- the decoder 131 Warning of possible deterioration.
- the machining information generation unit 141 designates most frames without machining, and designates the remaining few for the first machining and the second machining. For example, the first process and the second process are designated at a frequency of once per minute on average, and the rest are designated without any process. The reason for this is that without processing, video quality deterioration is detected, and the first processing and second processing are for the purpose of detecting defects in the client. This is because defects that can be detected in a steady state may be inspected occasionally. Therefore, the processing information generation unit 141 may be able to represent a series that is uniquely determined from a predetermined parameter.

Since the quality evaluation values of each frame always include those for no processing, there is no oversight of quality degradation.
- the combination of the processing information and the quality evaluation value is consistent when there is no deterioration without processing, there is deterioration with the first processing, and there is no deterioration with the second processing.
- the content distribution server 115, the feature amount distribution server 440, and the monitoring server 417 may be physically the same machine. It is logically equivalent, and the effect of the present invention is not impaired.
- the description of the type of processing and the format of the quality evaluation value is the same as in the first embodiment.
- the horizontal direction represents the progress of time, and each column corresponds to a frame.
- the row of processing information represents two pieces of processing information for each frame.
- A indicates no processing
- B indicates the first processing
