Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Herstellen eines bleifreien piezokeramischen Werkstoffs, aufweisend mindestens eine Perowskit-Phase des Kalium-Natrium-Niobat-Systems (KNN). Die Perowskit-Phase, die die Zusammensetzung (K0,5Nb0,5)O3 aufweist, wird über folgende Verfahrensschritte hergestellt: a) Bereitstellen einer Mischung mit Ausgangsmaterialien der Perowskit-Phase und b) Wärmebehandeln der Mischung, wobei die Perowskit-Phase entsteht. Das Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Pulver mit Niobhydroxid (Nb(OH)3) als eine der Ausgangsmaterialien verwendet wird. Das Wärmebehandeln umfasst ein Kalzinieren und/oder ein Sintern. Durch die Verwendung des hochreaktiven Niobhydroxids als Ausgangsmaterial (Precursor) wird die Bildung einer phasenreinen KNN-Keramik während der Kalzination erleichtert. Mit Hilfe des Verfahrens kann ein piezokeramisches Bauteil in Form eines Ultraschallwandlers oder eines piezokeramischen Biegewandlers hergestellt werden. Insbesondere ist das zugängliche piezokeramische Bauteil ein Vielschicht-Piezoaktor, der zur Ansteuerung eines Kraftstoffventils einer Brennkraftmaschine eines Kraftfahrzeugs eingesetzt wird.
