Abstract

 少ないセンサ数で、ヒステリシスの影響を受けることなく、どのような荷重条件においても、車輪にかかる荷重を正確に検出できるセンサ付車輪用軸受を提供する。車輪用軸受は、外方部材1と内方部材2の対向し合う複列の転走面3,4間に転動体5を介在させたものである。外方部材1と内方部材2のうち固定側部材の外径面に、2つのセンサユニット20からなるセンサユニット対19を設ける。両センサユニット20は、前記固定側部材の円周方向180度の位相差をなす位置に配置する。センサユニット20は、固定側部材外径面への2つ以上の接触固定部を有する歪み発生部材と、同部材の歪みを検出するセンサを有する。両センサユニット20のセンサ出力信号の差分により、径方向荷重推定手段31で径方向荷重を、また前記センサ出力信号の和により、軸方向荷重推定手段32で軸方向荷重を推定する。
