Abstract

　トルクを低減でき、かつ、軸受内部から軸受外にエアおよび潤滑剤が抜けにくくて、軸受外部からエアおよび異物が軸受内に浸入しにくい密封装置、転がり軸受および車輪用転がり軸受を提供する。 　ラジアルリップ７０を形成する弾性部材５１の軸方向の反フランジ部側の表面７２の軸方向の凹部の底７３が、芯金部材５０の径方向延在部６１における筒部６５側の端面７７に径方向に重なるようにする。ラジアルリップ７０を形成する弾性部材５１のスリンガ５２の筒部６５に面する径方向の凹部の底８１が、芯金部材５０の上記端面７７よりも軸方向のフランジ部６６側に位置するようにする。
