Abstract

 弾性情報の計測を正確に行なうことができる超音波診断装置を提供する。  超音波探触子と、前記超音波探触子から得られる被検体の断層部位のRFフレームデータに基づいて断層画像を生成する断層画像構成手段と、前記RFフレームデータに基づいて前記断層部位における組織の歪み及び/又は弾性率を求める弾性情報演算手段と、前記弾性情報演算手段で求めた歪み及び/又は弾性率に基づいて前記断層部位における弾性画像を生成する弾性画像構成手段と、前記断層画像及び/又は前記弾性画像を表示する表示手段とを備えた超音波診断装置において、  前記断層画像及び/又は前記弾性画像上に第1の移動基準点と第2の移動基準点を設定する設定手段と、前記第1の移動基準点と前記第2の移動基準点を前記被検体の拍動に追従させ、前記第1の移動基準点と前記第2の移動基準点とで形成される線分の長さを計測する計測手段とを備え、前記線分の長さと歪み及び/又は弾性率に基づく弾性情報を前記表示手段に表示させる。
