Abstract

【課題】強度・剛性を確保しつつ軽量・コンパクト化を図ると共に、車輪取付フランジの面振れ精度を高めてブレーキジャダーの発生を抑制した車輪用軸受装置を提供する。 【解決手段】車輪取付フランジ6のボルト孔6aの近傍を避けて各ボルト孔6a間の外周に切欠き部11が形成され、この切欠き部11がボルト孔6aのピッチ円直径PCDbよりも外径側にあり、その最深部11aとボルト孔6aのピッチ円直径PCDbとが近接するように円弧状に形成されて車輪取付フランジ6の外周面と滑らかに繋ると共に、切欠き部11の曲率中心が、車輪取付フランジ6の中心から隣り合う各ボルト孔6a間の中心の延長線上にあって、その曲率半径R1がボルト孔6aのピッチ円直径PCDbに対してR1=0.7~1.5PCDbに設定されている。
