 複数の入力タイミングを時系列的に設定した入力タイミング群と、入力タイミング群に基づいて入力操作すべき操作手段とを対応付けている操作シーケンスを記憶する操作シーケンステーブル211と、操作シーケンスに基づいて操作指示を出力する操作指示手段202と、入力タイミングと操作タイミングとの比較結果に基づいてゲーム成績を評価する評価手段205と、プレーヤの習熟度を判定する判定基準を記憶する判定基準テーブル212と、判定基準に基づいてプレーヤの習熟度を判定する習熟度判定手段203と、プレーヤの習熟度が所定値以上である場合、少なくとも1の入力タイミング群の一部を変更する操作シーケンス変更手段204とを含むことを特徴とするゲーム装置を提供する。
