Abstract

La présente invention concerne un colorant pour des lentilles oculaires, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un colorant azoïque qui comporte un groupe fonctionnel polymérisable et est représenté par l'une quelconque des formules générales (1), (2) et (3). Le colorant pour lentilles oculaires est bien moins susceptible de disparaître par dissolution, est moins susceptible de subir une modification telle qu'une hydrolyse et est stable. Le colorant du matériau brut garde le même ton de couleur même après l'introduction d'un groupe polymérisable donné dans celui-ci. Le colorant présente une nouvelle structure d'une couleur dans la gamme allant du rouge au violet et au bleu. L'invention concerne également un matériau pour des lentilles oculaires, un procédé de fabrication d'une lentille oculaire et une lentille oculaire.
