Abstract

　キック始動操作がし易いとともに、キック力伝達機構をオイル潤滑でき摩擦ロスの低減と耐久性の向上を図ることができるパワーユニットをもつ小型車両が開示される。内燃機関30のクランク軸40によりベルト式無段変速機70を介して駆動される従動プーリ軸80の動力が中間軸101を介して出力軸25に伝達され、出力軸25から動力伝達機構を介して後輪に動力が伝達される小型車両のパワーユニットにおいて、出力軸25が従動プーリ軸80の後方に配置され、中間軸101が出力軸25および従動プーリ軸80よりも上方に配置され、従動プーリ軸80よりも下方に前記クランク軸40に平行に始動用キックアーム122のキック軸123が配置され、キック軸123の動力をクランク軸40に伝達するキック力伝達機構120がベルト式無段変速機70とは車幅方向反対側に配設される。
