Abstract

 高周波焼入れ監視装置(20)は、高周波インバータ(11)の出力電流を検出する電流センサ(21)と、高周波インバータ(11)の出力端子間にコンデンサ(12)と共に等価回路的に接続される加熱コイル(15)における電圧を検出する電圧センサと、電流センサ(21)の検出信号と電圧センサ(22)の検出信号とに基づいて焼入れ管理を行う制御部(23)と、を含み、制御部(23)は、電流センサ(21)からの検出信号に基づいて高周波インバータ(11)からの出力電流の実効値を算出すると共に電圧センサ(22)からの検出信号に基づいて加熱コイル(14)に生じる電圧の実効値を算出するか、さらに各実効値から負荷インピーダンスを算出することで焼入れの監視を行う。
