Abstract

 本発明は、特定構造のポリエステルを含有する光学フィルムおよびその製造方法に関する。さらに、本発明は、前記光学フィルムを用いた光学積層体、偏光板、画像表示装置に関する。前記ポリエステルは、ビスフェノールと芳香族ジカルボン酸の重縮合物であることが好ましく、ハロゲン原子を含有しないことがさらに好ましい。前記ポリエステルは、溶剤への溶解性が高いため、本発明の光学フィルムは生産性に劣れ、かつ、生産時の環境負荷を低減できる。
