Abstract

　ディスクタイプのインフレータにおいて、ガス冷却性能及びミスト除去性能を確保すると共に、インフレータの径方向への小型軽量化を図る。 　インフレータケース（４０）は乗員側に配置されるアッパケース（３６）と反乗員側に配置されるロアケース（３８）とで構成されており、内部には隔壁（６４）で底部が構成された筒状の保持部材（６０）が配設されている。保持部材６０の周囲にはガス流路（７４）が形成されており、隔壁（６４）にはガス流路（７４）と連通する連通孔（８０）が形成されている。また、アッパケース（３６）の周壁部（３６Ｂ）において、燃焼室（６８）の中間位置Ｐから距離δだけ乗員側にオフセットした位置にはガス噴出孔（７６）が形成されている。従って、流路始端からガス噴出孔（７６）までの流路長（Ｌ１）が長くなり、高温のガスを効果的に熱交換できると共にミスト（８２）の除去が可能となるため、従来使用されていたフィルタを廃止できる。
