Abstract

 一定の電流量Iで充電する定電流充電中における電池の内部短絡を検知する内部短絡検知装置は、電池の端子電圧を検出する電圧検出部と、前記電圧検出部より予め定める第1期間ΔW1の始点における端子電圧V1と終点における端子電圧V2とを取得する端子電圧取得部と、前記端子電圧V1とV2とから前記第1期間ΔW1の端子電圧の実際の増加量ΔV3を算出する電圧増加量算出部と、前記電流量Iで前記第1期間ΔW1充電した場合の当該期間中の端子電圧の予測増加量ΔV4を算出する電圧増加量予測部と、前記実際の増加量ΔV3が、前記予測増加量ΔV4に予め定める係数αを加味した値以下であるときに内部短絡と判定する内部短絡判定部とを備えている。
