Abstract

 電動型スクロール圧縮機のための起動制御方法を実行する装置は、スクロール式の圧縮ユニット(2)の起動に先立ち、圧縮ユニット(2)への吸入冷媒の温度及び圧力をそれぞれ検出するサーミスタ(18)及び圧力センサ(20)と、圧縮機の起動時、圧縮ユニット(2)のための電動モータ(4)の駆動を制御するコントローラ(10)とを有し、コントローラ(10)は、圧縮機の起動時、検出した温度及び圧力に基づき、圧縮ユニット(2)内に液化冷媒が存在するか否かを判定し、この判定結果に基づき、通常の起動モード及びこの通常の起動モードよりも電動モータ(4)の回転速度を制限した液排出モードの何れかを選択し、そして、選択されたモードに従い電動モータ(4)を介して圧縮ユニット(2)の起動を制御する。
