Abstract

 非同期型リードチャネルシステムにおいて、参照値補間型の最尤復号器ASMLは、例えば7タップで回路規模の小さいものが採用される。前記最尤復号器ASMLの前段には、非線形波形等化器SEQが配置される。前記非線形波形等化器SEQは、例えば4タップのFIRフィルタで構成されていて、小振幅で高周波数な信号成分のみを大きく増幅するように、入力ディジタル信号を非線形波形等化する。この非線形波形等化後の信号が前記参照値補間型の最尤復号器ASMLに入力されて、最尤復号される。従って、前記参照値補間型最尤復号器を少ないタップ数で小回路規模に構成した場合であっても、誤り訂正能力の高い最尤復号が可能になる。
