Abstract

 筒状体内に流体を注入して膨張させて長手方向の長さを伸縮させる際に、半径方向の膨張を長手方向に効率よく伝達することのできるアクチュエータを提供するために、流体注入型アクチュエータ10の膨張収縮部であるアクチュエータ本体11を、円筒状のゴムチューブ12と、このゴムチューブ12に内挿された、上記ゴムチューブ12の長手方向に延長する、グラスロービング繊維などの径が10μm程度の複数の繊維13を上記ゴムチューブ12の周方向に沿って環状に配列して成る複数の環状繊維群13A~13Cとから構成し、ゴムチューブ12が膨張した場合でも、上記アクチュエータ本体11の全面にわたって上記ゴムチューブ12を長手方向へ拘束することができるようにした。
