Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de chauffage (10; 100; 200; 300; 400) pour un véhicule, comprenant un appareil de chauffage (30; 130; 230; 330; 430) pouvant fonctionner avec du combustible et indépendamment du moteur. Selon l'invention, l'appareil de chauffage peut être raccordé à un système d'alimentation en combustible du véhicule de sorte que l'appareil de chauffage soit relié à un réservoir de véhicule (18; 118; 218; 318; 418) par le biais d'une pompe (22; 122; 222; 322; 422) d'alimentation en combustible du système d'alimentation en combustible. Selon un premier aspect, l'invention concerne un dispositif de dosage et d'alimentation (28) destiné au dosage du combustible et à l'alimentation de l'appareil de chauffage (30) en combustible. Conformément au premier aspect de l'invention, un dispositif de commande (32) permet de commander le dispositif de dosage et d'alimentation (28), lorsque la pompe d'alimentation (22) est à l'arrêt ou n'assure pas l'alimentation, de manière à acheminer le combustible par l'intermédiaire de la pompe d'alimentation (22) directement du réservoir du véhicule (18) à l'appareil de chauffage (30) et à doser l'alimentation en combustible de manière correspondante. Selon un deuxième aspect, un dispositif à soupape (128; 228; 328; 428) pour le dosage de l'alimentation en combustible de l'appareil de chauffage est installé en aval de la pompe d'alimentation et en amont de l'appareil de chauffage. Conformément au deuxième aspect de l'invention, un dispositif de commande (32; 132; 232; 332; 432) permet de commander la pompe d'alimentation, dans un mode de chauffage d'appoint de l'appareil de chauffage, de manière à fonctionner avec une puissance absorbée est inférieure à une puissance absorbée de la pompe d'alimentation dans un mode de chauffage complémentaire de l'appareil de chauffage. L'invention concerne également un procédé d'alimentation en combustible d'un dispositif de chauffage conforme à l'invention selon le premier et le deuxième aspect.
