Abstract

 原子炉内で中性子が照射された燃料集合体1の少なくとも一側面Aに対面して放射線を検出する上検出器2、下検出器3を、燃料集合体1の軸方向に所定の間隔で設置し、燃料集合体と上検出器及び下検出器を当該燃料集合体の軸方向に沿って相対移動させながら、上検出器、下検出器により放射線信号の分布を測定し、これらの上検出器、下検出器により燃料集合体の軸方向同一部分を多重化して測定した放射線信号分布を比較することによって、測定毎に上検出器、下検出器により測定された放射線信号の健全性を判定し、その後、測定された放射線信号を用いて相対燃焼度を算出して燃焼度相対分布を測定する。本発明によれば、測定結果の信頼性を確保して燃料集合体の燃焼度相対分布を測定できる。
