Abstract

 マンネスマン製管法によって熱間圧延された素管を冷間抽伸することにより得られる一体成形型ドライブシャフト用冷間仕上継目無鋼管であり、その用途に適用しうる継目無鋼管の最大内面しわ深さ0.1mm以下、および縮径部で内径縮径率が30%以上で内面の最大しわ深さが0.20mm以下を確保するため、特定の化学組成からなる鋼種を用い、マンネスマン製管法による穿孔圧延、延伸圧延の後の定形圧延における孔型形態の調整と、その後の冷間抽伸での肉厚加工度の調整を行う。これにより、両端部の縮径部を設ける一体成形型の自動車用ドライブシャフトとして優れた捩り疲労特性を確保することができ、軽量化や静粛性に最適な中空部材として使用できる。これに用いることにより、自動車用ドライブシャフトを効率的に製造できる。
