Abstract

【課題】故障したサーバ装置のディスクを予備サーバ装置に差し換えた際に、ネットワークアドレス等の不整合を解消することができるサーバ管理プログラムを提供すること。 【解決手段】管理サーバ１０は、サーバ管理プログラムを含むソフトウェアで構成されたマネージャ１１を備える。管理対象サーバ２０は、ブート可能なシステムディスク２１を内蔵し、このディスクには管理サーバ１０のマネージャ１１と通信して管理対象サーバ２０の状態を監視するソフトウェアであるエージェント２２がインストールされている。管理対象サーバ２０のディスク以外の部分が故障すると、システムディスク２１を管理対象サーバ２０から抜き出し、それを予備サーバ３０に取り付ける。マネージャ１１は、管理対象のサーバの情報を管理するサーバ管理テーブルの内容を更新し、ネットワークアドレス等の不整合を解消する。
