Abstract

　液晶配向処理剤の原料とした場合、液晶のプレチルト角を大きくする効果を有し、少ない使用割合でも液晶を垂直に配向でき、かつ液晶配向処理剤の溶液に塗布性を高める貧溶媒を混合したときも析出しにくい新規なジアミンを提供する。 　下記の式（１）で表されるジアミン。 （式（１）中、Ｒ１はフェニレンであり、Ｒ２はシクロヘキシレン又はフェニレンであり、Ｒ３はシクロヘキシレンである。Ｒ４は炭素数３～１２のアルキル基、炭素数３～１２のフルオロアルキル基、炭素数３～１２のアルコキシ基、又は炭素数３～１２のフルオロアルコキシ基のいずれかである。）
