Abstract

 本発明は、簡易な装置により、環境への悪影響が少なく、また、高い生産性でトラニオンジャーナルを高精度に加工できる加工方法と、その加工方法によって形成されたトラニオンと、そのトラニオンを用いたトリポード型等速自在継手を提供する。外側継手部材1は、内周面に軸方向に延びる3つのトラック溝11を有し、トラニオン2は、ボス軸21の円周方向三等分位置から半径方向に突出した柱状のトラニオンジャーナル22を有する。トラニオンジャーナル22を、縦断面においてはストレート形状とし、横断面においては、継手円周方向に長軸を有する楕円形状とする。このトラニオンジャーナル22は、焼入鋼のドライ切削によって形成する。トラニオンジャーナル22の回りに回転自在に嵌合するローラカセット3は、ローラ31と、インナーリング32と、ローラ31とインナーリング32との間に挟持された複数の針状ころ33を有する。
