Abstract

 本発明のディスプレイパネルは、表示電極(5)が設けられた前面板(1)と、アドレス電極(10)が設けられた背面板(8)と、電極(5,10)を被覆する誘電体層(6,11)と、隔壁(12)と、が設けられている。誘電体層(6,11)および隔壁(12)から選ばれる少なくとも1つは、酸化物ガラスを用いて形成されている。この酸化物ガラスが本発明のガラス組成物であり、含まれる元素の内、酸素(O)を除く元素の比率が、56原子%≦B≦72原子%、0原子%≦Zn≦18原子%、8原子%≦R<12原子%、0原子%≦M≦5原子%、0原子%≦Si≦15原子%、である。なお、本発明のガラス組成物に含まれるアルカリ金属元素は、KおよびNaから選ばれる少なくとも1種であり、Rは、KおよびNaの合計量を示す。Mは、Mg、Ca、SrおよびBaの合計量を示す。
