Abstract

 350°C以上の雰囲気に4時間以上曝露しても接触角の低下が見られないほどの耐熱性、耐久性、離型性、及び防汚性を有するシランカップリング剤を提供する。 下記一般式(1)で表されるビフェニルアルキル基を有するシランカップリング剤は、350°C以上の雰囲気に4時間以上曝露しても、これら化合物による改質表面の接触角の低下が見られないというほどの優れた耐熱性、耐久性、離型性、及び防汚性を有するものであり、格別の効果と有用性を有する。 [式(1)中、RfはF(CF2)nのペルフルオロアルキル基を示し、nは1~14の整数、好ましくは1~12の整数、より好ましくは4~12の整数、さらに好ましくは4~10の整数を示す。]
