Abstract

 処理時間を短縮できるイオン交換樹脂塔の液面制御システム及び液面制御方法を提供する。また、液体とイオン交換樹脂の間の界面レベルを検出する界面レベルセンサを提供する。本発明のイオン交換樹脂塔の液面制御方法は、液面レベル信号(S12)をPID演算して得られた液面レベルPID操作信号と、イオン交換樹脂塔(2a, 2b, 2c)に供給される液体の供給流量信号(S10, S18, S28)に基づいて、イオン交換樹脂塔(2a, 2b, 2c)から排出する液体(6)の排出装置の操作信号(S18, S28, S38)を決定し、液面レベル(6a)を目標液面レベルに近づける。界面レベルセンサ(52)によって界面レベル(4a)を検出し、界面レベル(4a)の増減に応じて目標液面レベルを増減させるのが好ましい。本発明の界面レベルセンサ(52)は、互いに対向する複数の投光部及び受光部を有する。
