Claims (2)
- 透過型センサを用いて透明容器に溜められた透明液体の液量を検出する液量検出ユニットであって、
該透明容器内に間隔を空けて平行に立設される第1円筒部と第2円筒部とを備え、
透過型センサの第1のセンサは、
該第1円筒部内に配設され第1測定光を投光する第1の投光部と、
該第2円筒部内に配設され該第1測定光を受光する第1の受光部と、
該第1の投光部が投光する該第1測定光が該透明液体と空気の屈折率の違いで屈折又は反射して該第1の受光部が該第1測定光を受光するか否かによって該透明液体が所定量以下もしくは所定量より多いと判断する判断部と、を備え、
該第1の投光部と該第1の受光部とを結ぶ直線は、該第1円筒部及び該第2円筒部の延在方向に直交する方向で、該第1円筒部及び該第2円筒部の各々の中心から径方向で同方向にずらして配置され、
該判断部は、該第1の投光部が投光した該第1測定光を該第1の受光部が受光しない場合に該透明液体が所定量より多いと判断し、該第1の投光部が投光した該第1測定光を該第1の受光部が受光した場合に該透明液体が所定量以下になったと判断する液量検出ユニット。 - 透過型センサの第2のセンサは、該透明容器の外側に該透明容器を挟んで対向配置され第2測定光を投光する第2の投光部及び該第2測定光を受光する第2の受光部を更に備え、
該第2の投光部と該第2の受光部とを結ぶ直線が該透明液体の液面に対して斜めに傾斜しており、
該判断部は、該第2の投光部が投光する該第2測定光が該透明液体と空気の屈折率の違いで屈折又は反射して該第2の投光部が投光した該第2測定光を該第2の受光部が受光した場合に該透明液体が所定量より多いと判断し、該第2の投光部が投光した該第2測定光を該第2の受光部が受光しない場合に該透明液体が所定量以下になったと判断する請求項1記載の液量検出ユニット。
