Abstract
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Schwingkolbenverbrennungsmotor (10) umfassend einen konzentrisch zu einer ersten Welle verlaufenden rotationssymmetrischen Zylinderraum mit zumindest einem in diesem hin- und herschwenkbaren Kolben (18). Um eine hohe Verdichtung bei gleichzeitig hohem Wirkungsgrad zu erzielen, wird vorgeschlagen, dass der Zylinderraum in n-Teilräume unterteilt ist, dass in jedem Teilraum ein Kolben hin- und herschwingbar ist und dass jeder Teilraum von dem in diesem hin- und herschwingbaren Kolben in zwei Brennräume (22, 24) unterteilt ist und dass vorzugsweise jeder Brennraum mit einem vorverdichtetes Gas zuführenden Anschluss verbunden ist.
