Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Brennkraftmotor mit einem ersten Zylinder (1), einem zweiten Zylinder (2), dessen Kolben (4) sich bezogen auf die Umkehrpunkte seiner Bewegung etwa synchron mit dem Kolben (4) des ersten Zylinders (1) bewegt und einer am Ende eines Verdichtungstakts des ersten Zylinders (1) öffnende Überströmverbindung zwischen den Expansionsräumen der Zylinder (1, 2). Erfindungsgemäß ist der erste Zylinder zum Betrieb in zwei Takten vorgesehen. Vorzugsweise ist der erste Zylinder mit verdichteter, ggf. Kraftstoff enthaltender Luft aus Kurbelwellenkammern beider Zylinder (1, 2) aufladbar.
