Abstract

【課題】 150°C程度、さらには180°C程度の高温下に長時間放置しても、絶縁フィルムと銅層との密着強度(以下「ピール強度」と記す場合がある)の低下が少ない2層フレキシブル基板、特にファインパターン形成・COF実装に適した2層フレキシブル基板とその製造方法を提供する。 【解決手段】 本発明に係る2層フレキシブル基板は、絶縁体フィルムの少なくとも片面に、接着剤を介さずに乾式めっき法により直接下地金属層を形成し、該下地金属層上に所望の層厚の銅導体層を形成する2層フレキシブル基板において、前記下地金属層は、窒素原子を0.5~4.8原子%固溶したニッケル-クロムまたはニッケル-クロム-モリブデンを主として含有する結晶質であることを特徴とする。
