Abstract

カメラユニット検査装置は、チャートを撮像することによって得られたチャート像に基づいて、カメラユニットの検査を行うために好適に利用される。具体的には、カメラユニット検査装置は、検査を行う際に回転制御手段によってカメラユニットを回転させ、この際にカメラユニットによって撮像されたチャート像に基づいて検査を行う。つまり、カメラユニットの視野角の範囲で、カメラユニットの角度を多方向に振りながら検査を行う。これにより、カメラユニットを固定した状態で検査を行う場合と比較すると、チャートのサイズを小さくすることが可能となる。よって、検査を行う装置を小型化することが可能となる。したがって、装置を容易に設置することができ、量産工場のスペースを有効に活用することが可能となる。
