Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de détection (14) comprenant plusieurs capteurs (100) pour identifier des éléments (15, 16) de matière à transporter pouvant être détectés par électromagnétisme, un dispositif de transport (12) associé déplaçant une matière à transporter (13) sur un plan de transport et dans un sens de déplacement (116) passant devant les capteurs (100), un dispositif (102) pour générer un champ alternatif électromagnétique. Les capteurs (100) ont chacun au moins deux bobines de détection (104, 106) raccordées à un dispositif d'analyse (20) pour déterminer un signal différentiel entre les deux bobines (104, 106), afin de saisir des éléments (15) de matière à transporter dont les propriétés de leur matière modifient le champ alternatif. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que les deux bobines de détection (104, 106) sont disposées de manière à avoir des faces transversales parallèles au plan de transport avec des centres de gravité de surface (M, M') poussés l'un vers l'autre, la ligne (L) reliant les centres de gravité de surface (M, M') étant oblique relativement au sens de déplacement (116) de la matière à transporter (13). La présente invention porte également sur un dispositif (10) pour trier automatiquement des fractions pouvant être détectées par électromagnétisme dans un flux de matières à transporter (13), ce dispositif étant équipé d'un dispositif de détection (14) de ce type.
